AVOID THIS WEBSITE AND THEIR PARTER OFFERS TO SELL YOUR MOBILE

This company provide you with a quote for your phone, send the packaging and then keep your phone. They do not honour their side of the arrangement, should be prosecuted for theft!! Please do not use this company, it would be easier to simply give or throw your phone away.

I wish I'd read this before sending my iphone. I was offered a price of £280 for my iphone which was in very good working condition. They then received the phone and offered me £100 saying that the camera is faulty with black spots - it is most definitely not faulty and has no spots. The phone is otherwise in perfect condition. I have requested that they return the phone.

Wish I went on here beforehand obviously but can only condone previous reviews. Was shown a good price on the comparison with webuyanyphone so went ahead but that price was halved as SMM don’t state the conditions to get that price. Postage and return however was all fine.

Sent phone as per their instruction and heard nothing since, no contact, no money and no phone, well and truly scammed

Condition descriptions on website don't match up with the condition descriptions followed by the companies they are aggregating. As a result, the offers given are completely irrelevant, and cause great distress if you don't delve deep into the T&C's of whatever company you choose.

Whilst SellMyMobile seem to be very efficient with their end, I received nothing, absolutely nothing, from the company that had been quoted to buy my phone, so could not send it. From the reviews probably saved me from a lot of bother. Advice is go to Music Magpie!

This company is great, and is merely the host for the companies featured who are the ones who may revise. My advice is to check out the individual merchants reviews and not sell my mobile.

Please everyone read the reviews before you try. What people are saying about not receiving their money is 100% true. Luckily I threatened SELLMYMOBILE (third-party that put me through to phones2pounds) to report them for suspicious activity and within 3 hours they managed to contact these lames somehow and got my money sent. They have no means of you being able to contact them which is the worst thing after sending them your phone. DO NOT TRUST BY ALL MEANS!! better off going to a local cex

Sent good condition phone, they decided average. Dropped the price to be similar to a broken phone from other similar companies. Asked for it back. Started getting counter offers (but still less than other companies). Replied instantly, they take days to reply. Each day that passes the value in the market drops. Saw some bad reviews, assumed they had just got unlucky. They didn’t. This company will always find a way not to honour the price you agreed beforehand. Avoid.

I sent in my iPhone 11 and was given a quote for £243! When they received my phone they sent an email saying it has scratches on it (… it had zero scratches!!). They then offered me less than half!! Disgusting that they can do this especially because my phone had zero scratches! Trust me when I say, these guys are complete and utter scammers. Do yourself a favour and, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Time wasting selling my iPhone Time wasting selling my iPhone, I followed a link from MSE to sellmymobile a search comparison site top of the list was GradeMobile in a column “The amount you’d be paid” it £301 I was happy with that so I sent my phone they said they tested and inspected and it was actually worth £169 I said I wanted my iPhone back they sent it. The whole thing took 11days. Took my iPhone to town and sold it to CEX for £230 don’t waste your time.

Don't trust this comparison site!! They even use FAKE Trustpilot reviews on their site, for which I have now reported to Trustpilot. The 'top' result on here will just SCAM you out of your phone by quoting a reasonable amount for your phone and once they receive it just lie about the condition and then offer you a fraction of what they promised. Most people will just accept the amount not knowing if they will ever see their phone again. nothing short of a SCAM. AVOID.

3 weeks on still haven’t received payment, Half the price offered after misleading me it was worth more, 30 emails back and forth, The moral of this is I shouldn’t have been greedy and took the far better offer of local phone shop, I now know not to believe stars and read reviews instead, hope this informs you of what your signing up for,

Please be aware of massive price changes. On the advertisement page it stated upto 3 scratches and good condition. My phone was valued at £103 but when I sent the phone in 2 days later they say no scratches at all and made out my phone was in very poor condition! They said they are now offering me a new revised offer of the MASSIVE £15 !! Shocked to the max I will be honest as regularly swap my phones and use different company's and they all try and knock a bit of but to go from £103 to £15 was a laugh. I've requested my phone to be returned now but just keep getting a message saying there open times ect and as of yet not received a tracking number fro return of phone call I requested. .Watch this space for latest update on next move.

Was quoted £405 for a ‘working’ iPhone 12. Clicked link which took me to GoodBuyTech and hassle. They offered £305! So asked for it back. Got £400 from Music Magpie no quibble!
