I have placed an order with you guys to sell a mobile phone through Grademobile as advertised on your website and that was back on the 9th of December, the mobile has been sent and received, however, payment has never reached my account. ORDER 113180 I have contacted you guys since the beginning of December when that occurred and so far, no success on my uncountable tentative. I would like to be contacted ASAP by a member of your time with a resolution to my query, otherwise, it will leave me with no other choice but seeking legal advice on how to proceed regarding the matter. Happy to change the comments once my case has been successfully dealt with. Looking forward to hearing from you.
i send my iphone 11 pro max to them end of 0ct offer was 675 which i was fine with i am still wait for my payment still which is near 7 weeks ago now i rang then get no answer daily i get very worry now i want to use the money for xmas plus i borrow money as want to pay them back before i finish for xmas
Offered £300 for an iPhone X. The phone is 2 years old and had minor wear and tear and a battery that is - wait for it - 2 years old. Sent the phone and got an ‘offer’ back for £175 as the battery was degraded and it had marks on the edges. All batteries will degrade. If I’d not used it for 2 year it would be perfect! The marks were minor too - it’d been in a case for two years too! Absolute joke - put your phones on eBay or try another company as this lot are basically thieves.
Sent my near perfect iPhone XR after being quoted a reasonable price. Has now been downgraded due to ‘poor condition’ Really? Apparently worn screen damaged bezel (it’s always been in a case) and poor battery......I see a theme here. I requested they take another look as they can’t be looking at my phone. If they don’t want to pay the quoted price just return it don’t accuse me of my phone not meeting the T&Cs which it really does!
I used this outfit to get my iPhone recycled. Their recommended supplier (Grade Mobile) pretended for 2 weeks that they "couldn't find" the phone sent to them, even though tracking shows they received it. They stalled by repeatedly asking me for information that they already have and which I had sent again several times. Sellmymobile.com initially responded by taking no responsibility "we are a comparison service who do not receive any devices ourselves". After I suggested they are liable in law, having recommended the supplier and taken commission for doing so, they claim to have contacted Grade Mobile. They then told me that they were pleased to consider the matter resolved as Grade mobile had "found" my phone and promised payment within 24 hours. That was 4 days ago and, of course, there has been no payment. I don't know if sellmymobile.com and Grade Mobile are actually the same firm pretending to be different independent parties. I see that both appear to be deploying what look very much like paid fake reviews here on Trustpilot to try to balance out the negative customer experience. That increases the suspicion that they are working together in a scam operation. All I can do from here is take county court action for recovery and share my experience with others.
stay away, sent my phone off in perfect condition told me there was scratches on both front and back clearly done it themselves!!! Also told me the battery was Weak but I have had the phone less then a year !! What a joke!!
Avoid Avoid Avoid Shame it can’t be less than one star. Bunch of chancers. Promised a price on a like NEW phone of £59 then reduced offer to £15 Really. I sent it to Phones2Pounds who said the battery holds less power ( IPhone 6S over four years old Hello) but agreed to pay me £50. Don’t waste anytime with these scammers go to Phones2Pounds.
Like most other comments, I too have a IPhone in mint condition which was sent away based on the original quoted price. Upon receipt I was given a much lower price than quoted and was told there was damage to the phone, battery was inadequate etc... These bunch of chancers are relying on people not to contest their price and accept much lower offers. Stay away! You have been warned.... The fact you have responded with a generic response says it all. Listen to your prospective customers! Your pricing algorithm needs updating, or you need to understand that there are more reputable companies out there offering genuine prices. Most customers may accept a slight difference in price but when you make claims that the phones are faulty & damaged and are quite clearly not and then give them significant reduction in the original price, that’s when you lose business. Good luck for the future - you’re going to need it!
Avoid like the plague!!! They don’t pay what they offered you and try to claim your device is in a poor condition. I fortunately got them to send my phone back and used a more reputable company who paid me what my phone was worth.
No idea why people are leaving bad reviews for a comparison site. The comparison site works perfectly. I chose not to send my phone off to the company with the highest offer because that company had poor reviews. Obviously some people take that risk trying to get an extra £5 for their phone and get stung. But then they leave a bad review for a comparison site?! It's probably the same people who leave bad product reviews because of a problem with the delivery company.
Do not use sell my mobile. Do not listen to positive reviews they have had my iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb for nearly three weeks , fob you off on the phone , if someone answers, and no payment , emails to say device passed check and payment on its way. You have been warned.
I was looking to sell a excellent condition working IPhone 6s 64GB in pristine box, sell my mobile suggested Phones2pounds for £54, who once received my phone claimed it was not working and offered me £26...as I refused that and next 2 offers of £30 and £35 they returned another phone covered in scratches, not working and not in the box...do not take suggestions from this website!
These as I suspected are jokers they say we give you 301 so I send phone in mi t condition, an they say revised offer of 220 absolute jokers, unrealistic offers to get you to send phone an nearly always offer a lot less, I knew it but gave them a chance and Im ptoved rite again, take a bit extra time and sell your self, this company is such a joke. Never again, and I would advise never use......!!!
Had no issues with sellmymobile. People leaving negative reviews for this site are clearly stupid and lack comprehension since they don't seem to understand that they didn't send their phone to sellmymobile. Does what I need it to, points me on direction of who is offering best price for a device and I have used and recommend for years.
I sent my iPhone 11 Pro in and it's been signed for but I have not received any email confirmation, no funds have come in, no communication at all. I feel like I've been scammed. No phoneline to call and no response to several emails. I'm really worried it's a scam.
They offered my £46 for my iphone 6 that worked fine. I posted the phone to them and received an email revising their offer to £5 because there was not Touch ID. I rejected the offer, the phone was returned and the Touch ID is fine. Don't waste 2 weeks of your life dealing with this company
Joke of a company Offered a decent price for my phone, so sent it off. Only then for them to offer me £130 less. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS
The worst page ever I agree with all people who wrote that they scamers and thief's. I. Send them phone and I have no money and no phone.... Don't trust them!
SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!! AVOID AVOID AVOID I wish I read all the reviews before sending my phone off to them. I sent it last week and I have not heard a thing. I have called and emailed and like the other reviews they don't answer emails and the phone line states that you cannot leave a message on all options. I used the comparison site sellmymobile.co.uk and I have tried to contact them as well but no response. Police have now been contacted and if I don't get a response tomorrow, they should expect a little visit! I'm now out of pocket and without a phone. Not one of these 5 star reviews are real, they are all fakes!
