OpenDrive is online cloud storage, that allows you to store, sync, share, link, sell, advertise or backup files from your computer to the Internet.
I've only used OpenDrive for a few hours because the performance is poor. I have a 1Gbps connection in an OVH datacenter in Roubaix. The upload speed to OpenDrive (which only has servers in Phoenix, Arizona, USA) is not even close to fully utilizing this connection. OpenDrive's support is also slow. I've been waiting for two weeks now to have my service cancelled and the "Admin" refuses to give me a refund.
I needed to find an inexpensive place to host podcasts for a non-profit website, and found OpenDrive.com, which has various price points, starting with a generous free version. I was able to upload podcasts and access html code for a player to put on the website. Couldn't be easier.

very fast and easy signup. Want to upgrade to their paid plan later on this month. I think i'm going to do it. Plus they give you an extra 1GB of storage for giving a review. That's a plus. and also they have a good rating. I like to see honest reviews and people that leave these reviews are honest and real. Mike.
OpenDrive has all the functionality I need in a cloud service; plus they offer TRULY UNLIMITED storage for just $5/month. They offer 4 options: Backup, Sync, Move, and One-way mirror. I basically got rid of my external hard drives and now solely use OpenDrive as a replacement--it's worked out great! I truly love this service.
It's 5GB of free space. What's not to like?

Still getting used to the software with and without encryption and like how the cloud mounts itself as a local drive. I am looking to replace a locally attached Drobo and OpenDrive seems intuitive and expansive. The easy configuration of privacy and sharing options and the mixture of links available are interesting. Just looking into file versioning options. In a perfect world I can also track exact files by MD5 and remove duplicates. I'd also like to be able to export a list of all the file links as a data-dump. Possible but still learning. To date I've used Box,Google Drive, Dropbox and Mega.
