We have been dealing with an issue of our garage door opener since November. We have been stranded in our garage for over a week. When they finally brought a part the opener to replacement ours they gave us someone else’s nine year old unit and placed it in our garage, which has been nothing but trouble. Stay away from this company!

The company First American chose to fix my dish washer was first-rate. They came on time, figured out what the problem was, ordered the parts, then came and replaced the parts. My dishwasher is working fine now.

I called First American Home Warranty about a sewer blockage on 12/9/24 and a services order was placed to D&E Divine Services LLC on the same day. D&E never contacted me. I finally reached out to D&E on 12/12/24 to inquire about my service order. i was scheduled for 12/13/24 from 2- 6 pm. the technician came with a half broken 50 feel eel with a quarter inch head to clear my 4-6 inch main sewage pipe. some how the tech cleared the pipe enough to drain for a little less then a week. i called D&E back on 12/23/24 complaining that my line in fact was not cleared and is still backing up. the same tech came out today, was here less then 30 mins with same broken equipment and is now stating that there are roots in my line and tried to get me to purchase services not covered by my Warranty. I called First American Home Warranty to discuss my dissatisfaction and to complain about being solicited for services without their involvement and was told to write a PO BOX to make a complaint. The restitution worker also rejected my clam based on the report of D&E (who had broken equipment) even though 125 foot eel or a hydro blaster that is covered by my warranty was never used.
My only concern is the time it takes for the contractor to actually arrive to repair..this is something that needs to be looked at..
I have been able to be assigned to a provider for my job quickly and the providers have contacted me immediately and fixed my problem.
First of all the call center is not in the states also there is not a corporate number to complain too. I called last week to get a plumber out for a water pressure regulation valve due to loss of pressure. The woman at the sham warranty said it was covered I paid the deductible, and waited. I think Wednesday Summit Plumbing came out and apparently tested my system without a guage. He told my wife that yea the unit is failing wrote it up as misuse, which the this home warranty denied. He said the house was at 40 PSI in which this company denied the claim. It was kind of funny how he could test the PSI without a gauge and said it was going to be 1300. However the good news is he could save me 200. I disputed the plumber and sent pictures of the WPRV PSI specs in which they scheduled another shitty contractor to come out. It was almost a week and I needed to not drip shower in my house, so I called a real plumber not their preferred subcontractors. The repair was actually 407.00 part included. This home warranty says on their site that they reimburse, so I sent the receipt to the claims department. Guess what they denied it again, due to it not being one of their shitty plumbers. Here is the kick in the balls that everyone needs to know. As I am cancelling the warranty they send me to their cancellation also known as retention department. We spent 30 minutes to cancel the contract they came up with this brilliant idea. Rather than reimburse me for the repairs they wanted to credit my account for future claims what a F*cken joke. The woman said it gets hot in Arizona and your A/C could go out. Yea, No shit? My wife responded not like you would cover it anyway. They take 7-10 days to close the account. This company is a money grab and is rated higher than it is. There is not a US based home address other than California. Which means that claims are filed in India. If I wanted to I could skiptrace all the companies information but would probably lead me to some guys grandmothers home. Just Don't Do It. Also I am referring this issue to the ABC 15 Arizona News - Let Joe Know. There are people actually being scammed by companies like this.

Happy with their overall performance. It was a bit of a slow process getting one of our heat pumps replaced but they eventually got it taken care of with minimal out of pocket costs. Selected vendor was good.
The problem with my refrigerator water dispenser was tricky and took the repairman three visits to successfully diagnose and fix. First American Home Warranty didn't even blink. They kept the incident open until the fix was complete.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! Today is 12/23/2024 and I have been without A/C since before Thanksgiving!!! They are "looking for the part!" If I could give no stars I would!
