After getting prices from luke, I decided to phone around a few other companies, none of them could get close to what the energy advice line had quoted. Luke was very helpful and polite and answered any questions that I had for him.

Have been with EAL for many years and have found that they seek the best prices for all the utilities and notify when contracts end and termination notices have to be sent.

Two years ago I was advised to use a broker for the energy supplies to our church. The switching took a long time, waiting for emails and telephone calls - a most frustrating time - before the switch over for both utilities was achieved. I felt as though the agent had got his commission and then his attention ceased. As a comparatively small account customer we were told that our account had not been considered in the same way as one of the larger churches - we were in their second tier. This does not warrant second tier customer service though ! The period during which the broker should have been making enquiries regarding the renewal passed and I had to chase them up. When I received their quotes for 2014 I started to make online comparisons. The best thing I did was to contact Energy Advice Line, who in a day or two contacted me by telephone. From the start I felt confident that I was talking to someone who knew what he was talking about, was professional and cared. The agent gave me time to consider what was on offer before he rang back as promised to discuss details of his proposals for a switch over. I did not feel coerced and was grateful that he took time to explain everything to me. Following his comparison enquiries the proposed costings were accepted and the agreement made. The staff who then dealt with the formalities of contacting previous suppliers were done on time and I was informed by email at every stage as to the status of the switch over. Yes I had to do something, but this was not a problem as I was being so well served by everyone. It is all done now - no hassle - just a pleasure to deal with this organisation from start to finish.

Having read the positive reviews for Energy Advice Line, I was impressed with their service and knowledge - I spoke with Luke - and got my energy bills on a fixed contract very quickly and painlessly. I would recommend them to others as it took all the hassle out of finding alternative quotes.

Just signed up for a 4 year deal with Southern Electric through the Energy Advice Line. Craig Shepherd was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with . Great service and easy to switch supplier and now no worries about our electric prices for 4 years - HURRAH.
