Helped me develop my personal statement from a piece that really wasn't suitable for applying to University to a piece of writing that allowed me to obtain all my offers and give me plenty of opportunity. It has been extremely useful to have 1 to 1 sessions where I was able to talk about my personal statement once a week to help develop it to the best it could possibly be.
My mentor has had an extremely immense impact on me helping me develop my application skills and revision techniques enabling to get offers from multiple russel group universities. Recieving this scholarship would be an amazing way to help adjust to the rising costs of university.
Zero Gravity has been one of the best experiences of my life. I am ever so grateful for my mentor. She just made me fall in love with Psychology even more than I did before. She has just been so helpful in ways I could never have imagined, academically and emotionally. This platform has given me various opportunities to connect with other people and develop new skills and improve the ones I already have. It has shown me that it is never too late to try something new.
What made this a great experience was the detail of resources and mentors who get to share their experiences in university. There isn’t another online company who dedicates itself to provide students the opportunity to move onto higher eduction. That is what Zero Gravity gave me.
My mentor Leila has been very helpful and knowledgeable and great at guiding me through uni applications. She has also been very flexible and good at explaining concepts, and I have enjoyed the zero gravity experience and think it has been the most beneficial experience to my application.
Eloise, my mentor, has been very helpful and supportive, especially when writing my personal statement and choosing my top 5 universities. Zero Gravity is a wonderful platform which has allowed me to connect with others, offering valuable support regarding preparing for university. I had struggled with choosing a course and my top univeristy, however the advice from Eloise really helped to guide me in the right direction, and I'm now feeling more comfortable and confident with the step up to university life.
I joined zero gravity late 2022 and promptly started calls with my mentor after matching. He was a great help in letting me know the ins and outs of his life studying and oxford, which made me confident enough to know i wanted to go there. We then started weekly calls where he would teach me undergraduate chemistry to boost my supercurricular knowledge, then we had multiple sessions focusing on building and perfecting my oersonal statement. He also took time to run through multiple mock interviews with me to make me as confident and prepared as i could be for the interviews. The zero gravity community has been a great experience being able to read and participate in discussions with people going through the same process as me, down to even talking to people applying for the same subject and college.
My strong interest in cars and motor racing, along with my passion for maths and science, led me to apply for engineering at university, with the hope of working in the motorsport industry one day. Having a Zero Gravity mentor has helped me a lot through the university application process, and helped me to receive offers from universities such as Cambridge and Imperial. My mentor has spent a lot of his time helping me to write my personal statement, and prepare for my admissions tests and interviews. I have also found the masterclasses on Zero Gravity very helpful in preparing for these things. I thank everyone involved in Zero Gravity very much for providing this service.
I study A-level mathematics, physics, and economics which has been enthralling to learn as I explored the depths of these amazing subjects. I want to pursue my dream of studying mechanical engineering at university then finding a job where I can apply the knowledge I've learnt into physical real-life situations. The highlight of my experience was when I attended masterclasses regarding personal statements tips and tricks and socialising with the community when needed. My mentor has been a pleasure to be matched with, having regular weekly calls and advice for revision as well as my ucas application. We also practiced many interview type questions and she gave many insights to how university is like which is making me look forward to going to university.
My mentor, Zainab, was super helpful. She gave me so many tips for uni along with my applications, cv whilst also supporting me with my school notes on the subjects i took. Along with this she also have me a lot of mental support and gave me someone to talk to when i needed a break and was stressed. With this she also worked around my timetable along with hers even when super busy.
Having a mentor throughout sixth form was fundamental for the reassurance I needed for university. It provided me a sense of confidence throughout my application process and a reassurance over my degree also. We bonded over our love for sociology, I felt welcomed.
Zero Gravity has been transformative for my academic and personal development as I pursue a future in Politics and International Relations. My mentor’s guidance has demystified complex political ideologies, significantly enhancing my A-Level performance with practical examples and effective revision techniques. For adjusting to life away from home, I have benefited greatly from my mentor’s advice on budgeting, meal preparation, and building a supportive social network. These skills will be essential in fostering my independence and confidence. Career-wise, my mentor’s insights have been invaluable. They introduced me to prestigious opportunities like the Government Diplomatic Fast Track and Spring Week programs, providing a clear pathway to my career aspirations. Their support has inspired and aligned my academic pursuits with my professional goals. Zero Gravity has not only equipped me with the tools to excel academically but also prepared me for a dynamic and impactful career in politics and international relations.
Zero gravity allowed me to understand more about my university options. The mentors that are available are amazing intellectuals and I am so grateful to have had this opportunity.
I was first alerted to ZeroGravity by my UCAS mentor at school in the summer 2023. The platform was unbelievably helpful in assisting with application to the Oxford, especially due to the lack of specific support provided by my school. My mentor, Maria, could not have worked harder to make my application as strong as possible and was the key reason my application got accepted. Without her I would have never been pushed far enough in my intellectual pursuits nor confident and prepared enough to tackle my interviews. ZeroGravity masterclasses were also essential for me to understand what universities were looking for in my application and super-curricular activities. I believe that without ZeroGravity I would not have had the sufficient support network to get me where I am today. It is an amazing platform which levels the playing field of university applications and ensured that I was able to succeed.
Zero gravity has been a gigantic step in my journey especially with university as the masterclasses and community tab have been beneficial in discussing potential career choices as well as meeting others that share the same interests as me. The meetings with my mentor were sufficient in preparing me for my UCAS application and giving me support about personal statements and interviews as she had given me advice based on her experiences so Zero gravity has been a huge asset to me.
