Becoming a member of Zero Gravity has been so useful. I’m so glad a friend mentioned it to me! My mentor is so supportive, and has been able to answer all of my questions. They attend my dream university and study my dream course, which has also helped with any academic questions which I have. Our work on my personal statement has also helped so much where support from my school has been limited. Just having someone to chat through my application with has been so supportive, aswell as the zero gravity community pages and masterclasses. I can’t believe that I’ve had access to such an amazing programme for free and I actively recommend zero gravity to my friends and peers. As someone from a low participation background who has struggled to access other outreach programmes, I am so grateful for everything that I have gained from zero gravity so far and the support which I know I will receive during the next phase of my application.

Overall helpful for preping for uni. My experience was soured a little by a less engaged mentor but with a good mentor it would be brilliant, you can still access loads of resource to help if the mentor is more distant.

My experience with Zero Gravity has enabled me to network with amazing people who are willing to share their own knowledge and experience to help. My mentor in particular was very helpful in teaching me how to tackle the Oxbridge admissions process and encouraged me to stay on top of my tasks to achieve my goals.

I was introduced to Zero Gravity by my school, as a way to get more tailored help towards my uni application. Since I am aiming for a niche subject (Japanese), there was nobody I knew who could help. It took quite a while for the team to find me a mentor, and they weren't able to perfectly match my subject and university, but I was very happy with the mentor I was paired with, and she was able to rely on personal experiences and those of friends to give me a good grounding. She was very helpful in setting me up to write my personal statement, as well as sharing her uni journey with me. Although she was unable to answer some more specific queries, I am still highly satisfied with my experience. Zero Gravity is very proactive, regularly sending out questionnaires about how mentoring is going, as well as planning seminars and offering active forums for discussing course-related topics. Overall, I was very happy with my experience, the only caveat being the lack of communication during the period of waiting for a mentor, as no time frame was given. I waited for quite some time, but I know of a few friends who waited considerably longer, to the point where they gave up on what could have been a great experience for them.

Zero Gravity has been majorly supportive in my journey throughout Year 12 and currently during Year 13. I was briefly assigned with a mentor midway through Year 12 and they have been a great help in my personal statement , balancing life with sixth form and university options I would highly recommend Zero Gravity to current year 12s as it helps makes the journey a little less stressful

I have really enjoyed my experience with zero gravity as they provide so many variety of opportunities to enhance your application. As someone who didn't even know how to write my introduction to my personal statement, zero gravity has been crucial in my confidence in the application process especially with my LNAT preparation.

My experience was so good, i have a mentor who genuinely cares about my academic progress and keeps me aligned with my goals. Through the platform i have been put at an advantage in terms of application processes. I would definitely recommend applying because having someone look out for your journey will always be beneficial in many aspects

having a personalised mentor has been amazing in helping me get ready to apply to university - the one on one sessions means I get loads more help than at school. There's also lots of opportunities for extra help, including masterclasses and a personal statement 'summer school' which has been brilliant for revision/applications as well as the community feature where you are able to ask questions to both a-level and university students which I have found particularly useful as teachers and friends don't ALWAYS know the answer. The only criticism I might have is that the wait time for a mentor was a bit long and I wasn't really sure when I would be able to apply for one (no emails were sent to make me aware so I didn't start with a mentor until around June, even though I think I got into zero gravity end of January). But apart from that, all the different features are great to give a boost to your application and study skills.

I have recently completed my almost 6 month long Business insight program with Deloitte ventures , and received my congratulations certificate. I had so much fun learning about the business world and completing projects with a team of 5 and become creative. It was quite demanding at time but it help me with time management and being creative and positive.

Since joining this scheme, I have learnt so much about the process of applying to university. My mentor has been so helpful and is overall such a lovely individual that has offered me so much support over the application process. I have already received offers from a number of universities and I don't believe I would be in such a position without Zero Gravity.

I’ve loved Zero Gravity so far - it’s been really helpful and I definitely wouldn’t be where I am without it. The community platform where I can speak to other applicants as well as current university students is really useful and a quick way of getting great feedback and reassurance. Having a mentor is also incredibly helpful - I’ve learnt so much from him and my application is so much stronger than it would’ve been without his help! Thank you so much to you all :)

From day one you are given accesses to countless useful recourses from masterclasses to mentoring which boosted my UCAS application significantly and helped me stand out from the competition.
