My husband ordered an item in the Poole store as it wasn't available in their shop. When he returned it with it's original packaging and unused he was told a re-stocking fee and handling charge would be deducted from the refund. At no point when the member of staff ordered it was he told this would be the case, and it is not mentioned anywhere on their receipts. Very disappointed and will definitely not be using them again or recommending to others
I spend at least £50K+ a year on electrical supplies. Occasionally I nip into Yesss for a few bits and every time they rip me off with near double the going rate. Hence they get very little of my business!
YESS Stairfoot Wombwell. Just called in for 20x Procell batteries.. (2x boxes of 10). Guy on counter asked for £7.00 per box. Told him that sounded extortionate so he said ok £6.00 per box. Just checked other suppliers & YESS have charged me more than double the average value price. I’ve been ripped off. Martin Allatt
My father went into the shop in Wakefield and JAKE was absolutely brill, friendly and kind. He was super helpful and gave him his recommendations on product and overall it was a great experience. He would definitely go again. Great service by JAKE!
Don't use them much as they are very expensive and that gets passed on to customer....making me more expensive..... Screwfix/electrifx are normally 50% cheaper on consumables like grommets and screws.... Etc etc When I asked the Poole branch if there was any movement on the quote he told me Screwfix sell dodgy screws..........need I say more
Good on price but consistently cocking up my orders. Rarely get the same issue with CEF. Nothing ever get delivered on time
Preston branch: if you want to be insulted and told by person serving (or not serving) that he is 'not messing around tonight,' by all means visit this shop.
Phoned up to buy a runprotec cable reeler from the Wakefield branch. Said they had one in stock, got to the branch they had a dusty early model with no box (not the one advertised on the site). Said they would knock 10% off the sale, got to site double checked the receipt and charged the full amount for the newer one advertised. Stick to Cef at least they’re honest my company won’t be using them again.

No customer service, no real display!! Went to the one in birkenhead as we drove past, thought oooh light shop. Parked up an went inside. No hello by staff member on the shop floor or can I help you? I stated out loud saying 'oh not much of a selection' an if i was staff I'd be like helping outsaying here is a cataloguewith more in, or waking of light you after? but no couldn't give a dam. Not going there again!!
I've recently opened an account with Yesss Electrical for my business, after an Account Manager made an approach to me when in store. They have been brilliant and helped me work more efficiently...although I still need to get to grips with the website!
