So simple and easy to book this insurance. Very straightforward on what to select. Also love that is not based on the cost of the trip. Here’s hoping I don’t need to use it. 😃

Insurance arranged in minutes even though my trip had already started

Purchasing was easy but disappointed to see I lost out on benefits because I was over 1 week since purchasing a trip. It was a Christmas gift and trip was purchased before Christmas and bought insurance after received. Wish they made an extension around Christmas. Will upgrade rating after May trip pending a smooth trip or how insurance is handled if needed.

I submitted a question online and it took many days for a very non-responsive reply. I then tried to get a hold of them by phone--and it was effectively impossible. The 800# didn't work. The "US local" number was answered by TripMate--and they were of NO help. Most prompts ended the call with a "go online" message--and the times I got an agent, they said "everything is online". My problem is that I can't get to my account online--I created an account and the policy isn't visible in my account. There's no way to get to my policy that I can find.

I called with questions about the coverage I was thinking about buying, and they were answered clearly and knowledgeably.

No decent communication or explanation as to the difficulties you said you had. I don't believe you read my emails just standard responses. Never will use you again because if this is how you handle a simple request what would it be if I was in trouble in a foreign land.

This company definitely had the best prices. Ensuring my specific adventures were covered was easy. And, the functionality of the site was seamless!

I have only just purchased travel insurance from World Nomads based on the information on their website, choices for benefits, etc. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have not yet taken my trip. Hopefully I will not have to place any claims but if I do, I will re-evaluate my rating based on the response I get.
