The finance was explained clearly and simply, no pressure was put on me and since buying it’s been easy to get in touch for updates. Looking for forward to my new windows and door! Going to feel a lot more secure can’t wait!

Do not use this company please check company house details as they change name, details etc They have taken the money and ran!! Dec 22 we had windows and doors fitted, the 1st install team did not fully understand what was going on, they returned the following day and I refused them access to my house as they were drunk, this was witnessed by the sales person (C Mc) The door was measured incorrectly and I was told “ A trim will cover that” and I expressed my concerns that the house would then be cold, which I highlighted several times during the install, The house is colder than before the install The 2nd team had to fully refit the windows and doors, which I’m still having issues with, and I’m paying for a specialist to address We’ve tried to contact the CEO/MD (AV & C Mc) via emails phone calls without any success Stay away from this shower of cowboys

This company claimed to be MCS certified for solar installations when it wasn't. Application was made by the director to dissolve the company but this has been objected to. New successor companies, Macfarlane Homes and Weatherseal Scotland Group Ltd were set up, the name of the latter has since been changed to Moderna Della Cucina Ltd.

I’m posting this mainly because I appreciate how unsettling it can be for a fellow customer to think they have been scammed. We too have experienced the bounce back emails. However I have since been in touch with the person who we have been dealing with at Weatherseal. It appears the company has been bought over and an email should have went out to explain. ( it may well have, I delete emails without properly looking at them) Anyway this is likely an unsettling time for both the staff at Weatherseal and their customers. I have been assured that the work we had planned will go ahead as planned under the new umbrella. Based on the historic reviews and the dealings I personally had with them I trust this is true.

Absolute shamble of a company. Sent an email 3 months ago and still no response yet. Number also doesn't work so can't call. Spent over 20k on a conservatory and now the roof is all falling apart and being over run by moss due to shoddy workmanship on the outside. Worse aftercare I have experienced from a business as it is essentially none-existent. Please find other reputable businesses out there and avoid these cowboys like the plague.

Such a pleasant easy company 😋 Got my solar fitted last week and couldn’t be happier the whole process took less than 3 weeks from my quote to finish. We are already generating our own solar energy even if the weather hasn’t been the best. If you want an easy hassle free no headaches company go with Weatherseal Angela and her team are amazing 😀😀 I could not be happier

Happy enough with the company, easy, straightforward sales process and the fitting team where excellent. Sadly, I feel annoyed (with myself) that I fell for the sales pitch for the smartglass conservatory roof that we got. It’s made the conservatory hotter rather than cooler. It probably would have worked to cool if we had only had a polycarbonate roof previously. But we had polycarbonate with UPVC lining and foil insulation. Turns out, we should have saved the nearly £5k cost and stuck with what we had. I can’t really criticise the company for that however but sharing that here in case anyone else is considering Smartglass, think twice about whether it really will make any difference to your conservatory. UPDATE: This review now doesn't capture the responses that I received on here from Weatherseal which were (in my opinion) aggressive and accused me of slander and a revenge plot. Fortunately, their Operations Director has been much better composed and cooperative over email. But the people replying on here need training on how to respond to customers. Replying with disgraceful and rude comments, but then just deleting them, is awful behaviour and I believe potential customers have a right to know what this company is like.

I dealt with them for a solar panel system. The worst experience ever from any point of view (very long story to fit here). I'm still trying to get my money back. Please, be careful!

Got solar panels fitted by Weatherseal very happy with the final result had an issue with the battery not connecting to my fuse box during installation but Weatherseal sent out an engineer quickly to resolve the issue and my battery wasn’t working properly when up and running and an engineer called me to advise me of this and came out that same day to look at it and fixed the fault since then my solar panels are working fantastic and extra satisfaction knowing that someone is keeping an eye on my system and alerting me when anything is wrong plus the bird proofing which is a great thing to keep the birds away very happy with the service received from Weatherseal from start to finish.

Very professionally done. Very happy indeed with the new conservatory roof. Big thanks to Connor who provided us with all our options and prices and his follow up calls to check if everything was fine. Lastly, the team who installed the roof were very good company. Most enjoyable experience indeed…..

I had windows installed by this company with Georgian Bars (squares) at the top. It was not explained to me pre installation that the squares at the top would be all different sizes due to the way this company manufactures and installs their windows. My new windows look ridiculous. If I had known this I would have went with another company that had a computerised version showing me exactly what I wanted for a similar price. Weatherseal did not initially acknowledge my dissatisfaction. Just requested full payment. I paid a total of £6000 and withheld £500 until it was fixed. The owner of the company called me with an awful attitude and refused to let me explain fully my issue and hung up on me stating they can’t be fixed as this is the way their windows are manufactured and I’m due to pay the remaining balance. Unfortunately I’ve been left with no option but to pay the remaining balance as it would be too costly to go down the legal route. I’m so upset and disappointed as this was a lot of money for windows that look ridiculous and not what I requested. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the squares to be the same size! In addition to this, the salesman had said the fitters would clean my gutters and put a cat flap in for me as he was trying to be competitive with his price. This information was not passed on to the fitters and was never done. Unfortunately this was verbal and not written in the contract so if you do decide to go with this company, make sure everything is written down exactly as you expect it! EDIT I have since been informed that the company don’t manufacture the windows, they have a supplier. Unfortunately I can’t upload photos due to the company’s settings but I urge you to go on their social media and see for yourself. I was unhappy with 4 of my windows in which you will see the squares are out a lot more than 1.5mm. The post dated March 8th states ‘This is why we are the best in the business…. they just keep coming and as always customer delighted’ Just like most of the reply to this post, this is a complete untruth as I informed the company on the completion date of March 7th that I was unhappy with the Georgian Bars. With regards to their communication, they only called me twice over a couple of months and left voicemails. I have proof. The first I replied immediately. By March 10th I had paid £6000 leaving the remaining £500. The second call I missed as I was unwell. All 3 emails sent asking for payment, I called back immediately. I ended up paying the balance of £500 as my lawyer charges £200/hr. Several companies do these windows with equal squares by putting a sash in instead of just a pain of glass to even it out. I also have proof of this. My main point is I should have been told that this is the way their supplier manufacture their windows. Unfortunately my review is complete truth.

We had new windows fitted, but afterwards had a couple of issues we asked Weatherseal to address (a poorly sealed window and a vent that was not properly attached). The customer service is very poor. Messages left on their system went unanswered, and when we did speak to them, on four separate occasions they told us they would deal with the problem, then failed to follow up on it. We cannot recommend this company. Update 24 March: The fitter phoned us about 10 minutes after we posted a negative review, and told us he would order the clip and it should be fitted after the weekend. One week later, we await the follow up. My wife tried to phone on Wednesday, and had a text message reply saying we would be contacted. Again no contact, and no messages left at any point in this process. Update 18 April - In reply to the comments below, our records show we have emailed Weatherseal on three occasions and phoned/attempted to phone on eleven separate dates between 20 Feb and 18 April. To date we have been contacted twice, by phone (our landline on 18 March and my wife's mobile on 24 March). We have no record of missed calls or answerphone messages, so I'm not sure what number you are calling? Given our efforts to contact you, and that we have one window which is not sealing, and one window with no vent, I can assure you we would not purposely ignore any attempt to contact us and rectify these issues.

From the very 1st contact to final completion of our new conservatory, we were very impressed with the professionalism , efficiency and friendliness of the workers. They did a great job in some very very cold conditions without any issues. 1 glazed unit cracked and was ordered the same day and refitted less than a week later. Would happily recommend them and use them again.

Windows and Doors as expected. Required re-visit as initial standard of finishing appalling - after re visit good. Service visit to adjust both entry doors required - arranged and result good.
