A great day but had to be patient with a few caterhams going very slow. Is that better ? But I do think it would be a good idea to fit brake lights to them. Like your web site says cars must have a mot or have past scrutinering in the last 12 months And to do both you must have working brake lights .
These guys seem to be able to get a sensible, balanced approach to maintain safety and prevent contact, whilst still allowing people to try hard without fear of being asked to go home - obviously managing nutters appropriately. Probably the best run track days I have been on are run by bookatrack.com!
I have been out of motorsport for a good while now and this was my first time on track for years but I was very impressed. The stand out for me was the fact you never felt crowded out on the track, they limited the amount of vehicles allowed out at any one time and as such it improved the experience vastly. And even if you were asked to wait before going out due to these limits it was never for longer than 3 or 4 minutes. A very professional and well run day, would have no qualms with recommending them to anyone.
Great day, busy given that the start of the season isn't too far away but well driven and, as someone who drives to the circuit and back home again afterwards, that matters! As always, really well run without being heavy handed. Open pit lane is the only way to go. Tuition always high quality and so worth while. Learn something everytime. A great day from a top company!
Run by a very pleasant husband and wife team for the very personal touch. Jonny was more than happy to bend over backwards and Sarah was very accommodating. Lovely couple, would do again.
Well organised with a sell out of just 24 cars on the day.
Well organised and fun/safe day. Looking forward to spring!
Over the years I have used Bookatrack both in the UK and Europe and each time I have been more than satisfied with the service, from track day organisation to car preparation of the fleet of Caterhams. I would strongly recommend you experience one of their cars that have always run all day without issue.
Have been on many track days, this rates amongst the best. Very efficient and friendly. Thanks very much.
Besides the weather, it was a nice experience with track driving. There was quite a speed difference between the experienced drivers and the newbies... Even in the corners, some couldn't wait... But I had not one moment of an unsafe feeling!! Thanks for that and the gentliness of the other drivers! It was my first time on a track. I'm used of driving quite quick on daily roads, but circuit driving is an other level! That's for sure. I think it wouldn't be bad participating a few times per year to strengthen driving skills! I even think of taking some lessons. To be continued. Greetings Patrick
This was the second time that I attended a BaT trackday at Francorchamps. I can compare trackday organizers and I conclude: BaT provides the best value. BaT starts with a very strict and unambiguous safety briefing (although I still had one car overtaking at the right...) that everyone must attend. No attendance, no wrist band, no wristband, no driving. The right thing! The BaT staff is like a family, everyone has their role, from instructing to sober but excellent catering (no I don't need a heavy lunch when enjoying my car around the track). The drive with an instructor was, although a bit short, extremely learnful and truly customized to my level of expertise. Most of all, I like BaT for the fact that they do not take car fun for granted: they show respect for every driver, and treat them all allike, whoever they are, whatever they drive, and whatever level of expertise they have. That's what true car fun should be about: the fun of driving right, not the act of showing off. Please continue! My next BaT trackday is alreay penciled in and it will be a 2 days Francorchamps track weekend :-). Paul
All of the bookatrack team always show a high level of professionalism. They are also very friendly and available for any questions. Safety at the venue is always treated with the highest importance and the team show this right from the start with the very comprehensive briefing. I have been to other track days and must say that the Bookatrack ones would always be my first choice.
My first experience with BookTrack was at Spa Francorchamp in November and I cannot remember a trackday which has been so stress-free and enjoyable. All staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful - safety and security briefings were comprehensive and full understandable (although Jonny's language skills might need reviewing!) and the whole day went without any problem apart from my own lack of pace... but that's another story..
Pre-organisation and organisation was very good. Everybody was very friendly and ll certainly book again many trackdays.
Really enjoyed the track day, nice weather and low numbers helped
As always with Bookatrack, a professionally run day. Having a Caterham, it was really useful to have an instructor with a simple earphone intercom. Why don't all instructors at trackdays have access to these?
Other trackdays have novices on corporate days in cars they can't drive holding people up or worse, people with expensive cars who can't drive who hold people up. Or people in race cars that visit gravel traps that slow the whole day down. Lots of track time. No idiots. Great track day.
The day was well managed and the staff were very friendly and related to the participants well. Some good jovial ways of getting the serious messages across which worked well with a large audience. Would definitely use this company again for future track days.
Used pretty much all the companies out there for trackdays and Bookatrack are always my first choice.
Have been attending track days 15 or more times a year, this my first with the BaT team. By far the best organised, friendly and well put together event I've been at this year, and Johnny and Sarah are a refreshing change to the other "mob" I've been frequenting with who are more interested in chatting between themselves and look almost disgusted when you need to speak with them on anything...
