Quick, tidy, professional, there was an issue with the wrong colour guttering which they resolved swiftly - no problem - and we now have a lovely new garage roof & door: wonderful, thank you so much! Price seemed reasonable for the work done, including old asbestos roof removal.

Got replacement for my asbestos garage roof with new metal roof, guttering and uPVC fixed windows No dramas from start to finish, quick to quote, survey, job took 2 months waiting time though. Installation was fine, downpipe straight into a large water butt was advised rather than diverter that came with butt. It has now filled nicely Finances: 25% deposit up front, balance on completion split between installers and VSF Struggling to find fault with the service

Trouble-free process of replacing our garage roof and disposing of the original asbestos in the correct and safe way. The fitters arrived on the expected day and finished the work quickly and cleanly.

The company dealt with everything excellently from start to finish. I was kept informed of everything every step of the way. The installers, Brian and Neil did an excellent job and left everything neat and tidy. The work was excellent and the price more reasonable than I was expecting. Extremely pleased with everything and would highly recommend this company.

They told me on the day when they would be here and talked to me about how they would be doing the job.They got on with the work straight away and did a great job they explained any things that needed to be done if things popped up we are very pleased with the work.

I was looking for a good garage roof installation with removal of the old one, I am glad I went with VSF garage as the process was well organised and smooth. From the appointment for survey till the end of the work, everything was well organised. The instructions were clear and the team who came to do the work provided good information on the process and cleared any doubt we had. I would highly recommend VSF for getting the work done and also having a clear and reliable process

Workmen arrived after 11.00 having stated would arrive well before 9.30 so I was unable to go out for 5 ,- 6 hrs as arranged. Concerned that helper didn't wear protective suit or any type of mask. The sealant around the new window could have been done better. Although most of the bigger pieces of debris were collected I filled about 3litre container with bits of concrete, screws etc. (Workmen finished about 20.00).

Final finishing could be better. A large hole in the masonry was left unfilled in the right hand side of the garage door. Door vertical hinging still very stiff to operate. Otherwise, I am still awaiting rain to check the waterproofing of the garage. Otherwise all appears so far, very good.

Huge red and black sign on the door refusing all marketing materials. VSF ignored this to post their promotional material. If that’s how they treat potential customers I’d hate to see how they treat actual customers and the other one star reviews confirm this.

VSF replaced the asbestos roof of a large single garage and utility room, and also an area of clear plastic roofing over a passage between the garage and house tapering from 1.1m to 1.8m wide, together with about ten metres of guttering shared by the two roofs. Total just under £10000. The work was completed in two days by a two-man team of Approved Installers, supplemented at the end by an additional team working locally. While the replacement roofing seems to be satisfactory so far, the guttering and fascias are not, with a number of defects and signs of rushed work. The installers changed the roof drainage layout on their own initiative, omitting one of the two downpipes, and relocating the remaining one to eliminate a return at the end of the run. In this new position, the pipe prevents the back door from opening through ninety degrees. The standard of work here is poor, with the guttering forced into position to avoid modifying the existing structure, resulting in misaligned brackets and leaks. Pipe connections have been made using long screws that project into the water flow. One gutter sealing gasket can be seen sticking out. Rainwater tends to sit in the mostly- level gutter and leak from the joint into the covered passage (we have a bucket to catch the drips), and in other places the plastic cover fascias are wet during rain from water tracking back under the overhang. Weathering of the clear roofing against the house wall, while an improvement on the original mortar fillet, has not been done as agreed. The flashing has been stuck to the outside of the painted roughcast render, and not cut into the brickwork. The fascia for the utility room has been cut roughly and left uncapped, which is unsightly. This company provides a valuable niche service, and is efficient in its own way, bar a few administrative hiccups. I hope the issues mentioned above can be addressed and the rating improved.

Absolutely thrilled with the finished product.Have to repeat previous reviews in that from first contact to completion of the works, this company is on the ball - no delays, appointments kept to the minute and the two guys (Neil and his co- worker (sorry I don’t know your name!!) were absolutely brilliant- they worked tirelessly in quite heavy rain most of the day, to get the job completed - they never stopped all day - and despite the nasty weather and soaking wet, soldiered on with a smile. They left the garage in perfect condition inside and outside when they had finished - you literally would never have known they had been - let alone dismantled a roof and replaced it!!! I am literally over the moon with everything from start to finish and would highly recommend the company and the contractors who carried out our job 100%.
