I am a pretty positive person and never like to drop the negative review but I want to be truthful and don't want others to suffer as I did during the whole moving process from the USA to India. If you like to lose your money, energy, time, and peace of mind then use this company to relocate. The first thing is they take the payment in advance through account transfer or Zelle, you cannot pay by credit card. I will recommend if you have the option, please pay through credit card because Once your money is gone out of your check-in account, you cannot claim it back, if you do not receive the delivery of your goods or your goods are stolen. The second thing is the documents that they make you sign. They are not liable for anything and the most important thing is after your shipment crosses the US border the US government will not be able to help you since the company is doing all these things after crossing the US border. We tried to reach Chennai port authority for help but no reply. After paying extra money to the company, still we did not receive all the household goods that we packed, many of our stuff is missing. We also emailed them but no satisfactory reply. Just praying for all the people whoever doing business with Universal.

We recently shifted all our household items from bellevue (Washington) to chennai with Universal Relocations.Undoubtedly , they did a great job end to end. All boxes were received intact and without any major damages. There was slight delay but mainly because of supply chain blockages and nothing in particular with respect them. Decent price and clean delivery in total. Overall very satisfied and happy to provide 5 stars. Special credit to the two folks with whom I interacted mainly . Khushali who helped in coordinating the prices and timely pickup from USA and Huzaina for all the in transit coordination and final delivery. Thankful to everyone in universal including the truck drivers who were courteous and sincere. Definitely recommended for Universal Relocation's services .
I felt I took a perfect decision by choosing Universal Relocations. I shipped 2 boxes from San Diego to Bangalore in Jul 2021, which took around 4 months to get delivered at my residence in Bangalore. I am really happy with the way they handled the things and great communication from their employee Huzaina. She has been in constant touch with me and provided all the required details to me. Positives: 1. Great communication about the process and constant tracking updates. 2. Clear instructions about the type of packaging along with the documents to refer. 3. Ready to answer any number of queries. 4. Great package pickup and drop off service. Things have been exactly in the same shape as I packed in US. Improvement: 1. They have told the package will be reached in 8-12 weeks initially but it took way more time than that. Completely understand the unexpected delays due to covid and weather conditions. I would say if they can provide clear timelines to the customer then it would be really nice..!
Even though my delivery was delayed due to the pandemic, Universal Relocations were proactive in providing regular updates. I shipped my boxes from Ohio USA to Bengaluru, twice. My experience with Universal Relocations was pretty good. From the begging to the delivery of my boxes at destination, the process was so well communicated, monitored and executed. These guys are very professional and their process is very well established. They will help us for each and every step - from what box we should buy, how to pack things, where to put the address, etc. As most of us will be new to this kind of shipping, these small information will help a lot. It seems they know exactly what people would ask them, so they were ready with answers to all my questions. They arranged FedX to pickup boxes from Ohio, which was communicated and followed up very well. Through the shipping tracking was communicated so well. I never had any doubt or fear of missing my boxes. My shipment was coordinated by Kushali Dattani in US. Once the boxes were shipped Huzaina Bee from Chennai, was the coordinator. She use to send updates pretty regularly. Before the boxes were out for delivery she made sure that we are at home. She sounded extremely professional. Before shipping my boxes I was bit hesitant as the stuff I shipped were items of sentiments and memories. But at the end I was happy to receive all the boxes so intact.

1. The Chennai office was extremely communicative and helpful. The Bangalore office was very helpful as well and prompt with communication during the Customs clearance 2. The Chemnai office continued to keep me informed of the progress/delays during the transport from Bangalore to the Dankuni warehouse in Kolkata 3. Thereafter, the communication was rather sloppy, clearly there were gaps in information between the Chennai office, Dankuni office and myself. However, my goods were delivered fine, minus one package 4. the delivery of the missing package took almost 20 days past the delivery of the initial lot. There was little information forthcoming and the Chennai office also seemed to be struggling for information. But they continued to communicate with me 5. the last package was delivered fine but the delivery men seemed to think that this package arrived at their godown in Dankuni just one day earlier. The Chennai office did not seem to have that information and seems to think that it had arrived much earlier
While I'm happy with the overall delivery of my shipment, I did have some issues in the process. Couple of the boxes that I shipped got missed during my original delivery. Constant follow-ups finally got my boxes back, but they could do something about consolidating the shipment before it is actually shipped. I did an international shipment with them. They could also do something more about communicating with the customer in case of such misses as well. Madhusudhan, one of the sales directors, was very helpful in finding the missed boxes. While it turned out to be a good experience in the end, they could do something about their internal process.
