No words can justify my smooth sailing --- in more ways than one --- experience with Universal Relocations. From the beginning to the end. Every member of the team was very helpful. Starting with Mr.Madhusudhan, I felt like he was God sent for me. The first time I talked to him, he gave me a lot of assurance and comfort about shipping and with that first phone call itself itself I knew everything will go smoothly with the shipment from USA to Hyderabad, India. He patiently answered all my questions on the phone and email.I called him or emailed him several times through out the process and he was extremely helpful and courteous. He guided me with the paperwork that was involved. I am a 70yr old who is not very computer savvy :) Second person is Krishna who is exceptional! When he called me the first time about the shipment, he gave a lot of details about packing the boxes, FedEx labels and a lot of nitty gritty details involved in packing, labeling, and sending through FedEx to New Jersey warehouse. In addition to the phone call, he sent a detailed email explaining everything. I called Krishna several times too and he helped me very patiently. He promptly updated me when the boxes reached New Jersey warehouse. After that I got regular updates from Huzaina very promptly. Shyamala helped me with the accounts very promptly. Sandhya is amazing! She very promptly notified and kept me updated about the boxes reaching Hyderabad warehouse and when they will be delivered to our residence in Hyderabad. Ashok coordinated the delivery in Hyderabad very smoothly. The delivery people, four of them were very helpful and courteous and handled the boxes very carefully. My sister in Hyderabad who received the boxes was very impressed with them. Sandhya followed up and made sure everything was okay. Hence, it was a very smooth sailing for me and my family with the experience we had with Universal Relocations Team. We have had a great hassle free experience with Universal relocations. Very smooth movement of our shipment and timely updates. We just had to proactively ask for updates when there was silence for sometime but those were times when there was no major update. I am very satisfied with the work this company. I shipped items from US (New Jersey)in mid August and received in India (Kolkata) in December end. There was a little delay than promised initially but totally understandable considering current pandemic situations. Customer support team is excellent. Special mention to Sandhya Somalingam who was my co-ordinator, always responded promptly and did additional followup with delivery team so that we could receive the shipment easily. It was door to door service as committed. Customs charge was bit high. For 3 boxes it cost me almost 6k INR

Had good moving experience from US to India with Universal Relocations. Initially my shipment was due on 2 Nov 21 but it reached chennai port only 22 Nov 21, universal relocations team kept us informed frequency which is really a true customer support. Sham, Krish, Huzaina and the team were all very helpful with booking, pickup, delivery and regular updates. It could be little more good if team can keep us posted on the delivery dates as customer support moves from 1 team to another team ( Wear house team) . I had to do follow at some frequency to know my next post port clearance.

I had a very good experience with this Universal Relocations. From the time, I contact the agent through their website, immediate I was contacted by Mr. Madhu and asked all the necessary initial questions and suggested what and how things work. Madhu, A big thank you for accepting and coordination at US. A lot of big help when the container arrived on time at my home for a big pickup and the planning ahead and taking the Container pulled out from Dock the previous night itself was an extra effort and mile you have ✅ done. Mothish, for all my Hyd calls and coordination and the support and assurance you have given that it would be sorted out and the calls on week ends or nights!! 2 months almost here in Hyd and that was at my end coordination with the DC and ICD office team.👌 Palani: my go to person and when Mothish is busy, showing me the directions and guiding me through out the process and every call or SMS you picked along with Mothish and given the necessary inputs. 👏 Venkat: Assisting at the DC office and a front face to the Inspector and security and nicely collecting, documenting and supporting the consignment!💪 A Big Thank you and appreciate all your support and both of you coming to my place, well coordination and a successful delivery.

We recently moved our furniture, clothing, kitchen ware and other household items from US to Chennai. We booked a 20' container. This relocation brought all our 2 decades long cherished items safely to our new abode in India. The entire journey lasted almost 3 months from door-to-door. Universal Relocations did a very thorough job at every step of the way thereby ensuring all our items are safely delivered at our destination address. I trusted all their personnel, and they too did the same. That really helped accomplish the move successfully. Their associates both in the US and India were very sincere, knowledgeable of the various processes, and willing to do the extra bit of hard work to keep everything transparent and clear to us. I permanently relocated from USA to India and shipped 4 boxes from Tennessee to Goa. It was a smooth process with Universal Relocations and was a door-to-door service. It took less than 4 months for the entire process. None of my boxes were damaged and most of the items were in good condition. Sandhya in particular was very helpful in providing periodic updates regarding the shipment till the day of receipt of the boxes in India. This has been my fifth shipment with Universal Relocation. My name is Mrs. Ranjini Sekhar. One large shipment with furniture, personal effects and paintings from Coonoor, India to the US, two shipments from Coonoor to Chennai and Mysore, and two shipments of 3 boxes each from the US to my sister in Mysore, India. The courier brought up the boxes to her apartment on the second floor. My agent, Ms Sandhya Somalingam, was very supportive and kept me informed periodically about the status of my shipment. I would rate the company a 5 for their excellent customer service and follow up.

I shipped about 30 boxes LCL from the U.S. to Hyderabad. They took about 4 months from pickup to delivery. Other than a couple of concerns (invoiced cost higher than quoted cost even after taking into account pallet overflow, and one box damaged), I am happy with my choice of going with Universal Relocations. Scheduling a pickup date was a little iffy but they made it happen exactly as I requested in the end. The driver who picked up was very helpful, even pulling over and waiting for me as I raced to drop off a couple of things I had forgotten to give him at pickup. They were especially helpful throughout the India side - giving weekly updates on timing, prompt response to questions and smooth handling of customs process. I commend Sandhya, Shyamala, Leon, and others for attention to detail and customer service.

Overall it is a good experience, the support staff is helpful , I want to thank Sandhya for helping out to keep me informed about delivery.
