I had an OK experience dealing with Universal Relocations. My shipment was from California to Kerala ,India and it was Less than Container (LCL) load. In US, the packing crew assigned to me was a single person and he did only an ok job. I had to prompt him to use some padding for the monitors since he did not come prepared for the monitors I had. The monitors and TV I shipped reached without any damages. In India, the crew was helpful. They delivered everything professionally and verified no damages and had prompt follow-ups and guided me with the customs procedures. It took an extremely long time for the load to reach the destination, more than 5 months. I lost a few items during the shipment, overall it was an ok experience given the risk/stakes were high.
Quote process The person who gave the quote (Thanuj) are very transparent In xerox paining what is included and what is not ! They explained the insurance option in clear and let me decide if I want it ! They followed up based on my instructions! And made sure I’m comfortable with the pricing and offered additional discounts if I have more No of packages ! Pickup The pick up was supposed to be a Home pickup but I was in a time rush and their pick up provider gave an estimate which didn’t work for me ! They worked with me and gave a option for me to drop off the packages to the nearest warehouse ! Luckily I was within 10 miles of warehouse and that helped me a lot !! Thanks shabir for considering the customer view point ! Payment Very transparent ! And no issue. on time confirmations ! Customs Inspection Since I was located in the same city as the port! I was requested to be in the port during inspection ! Ashok along with Akbar and Mani were awesome in their job in helping me out thru the whole inspection process ! Of course there were no issues since I told them clearly what things I were sending ! Final Delivery Couple of days post inspection, the delivery contacted me and arranged for a door drop off service ! Again very seamless! I loved the type of service this company has offered and would love to use them again if need be !
Overall smooth experience with our door to door shipment from Virginia to Bangalore. We opted for packaging by UR which turned out to be great decision even though it’s bit pricey. They had constant contact with us and gave update about shipment. Only thing is shipment delivery was delayed by 20 days. We were not in hurry for the shipped items. So it was okay for us. Plan for extra buffer days (at least a month).

Hi, The universal relocation service is great. They update on every stage of shipment process and very generous to help. I have used it first time while shifting fro Dayton,Ohio to Hyderabad. They are timely picking the packages and provided clear information on contents to pack. Sandy’s helped us to update the status on every stage. Only worries is the delay in delivery, that might be due to corona and work force or port regulations. It added 1 1/2 month delay from the committed date. Ms. Sandhya Somalingam was a great person who took care of all problems, and it took long time that is due to custom and immigration. I received my stuffs on 10th October. 2022. Overall experience was great, and you need MR.RAVI and Universal Relocation dept for best delivery.

Overall experience was very good with everyone who handled the end to end shipment, except for the delay - took 4 months for Chicago to Chennai. Though there is a port in Chennai, not sure why it went to Mumbai and then to Hyderabad for dry port clearance and then to Chennai.
A big shout out to Universal Relocations! Everyone was so polite, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and prompt in responding to my questions. I received weekly intimation regarding my shipment from Chicago to Chennai and then right to my doorstep. Thank you to Shahbaz, Sandhya, Pradeep Kumar, Leon, Thyagarajan, Sini, Shreya, Shyamala, and all the others who worked so tirelessly to help me.
Overall a positive experience except that it took almost 3 and half months to get the boxes from Houston to Hyderabad. The pickup and delivery was smooth. FedEx picked up the boxes from our house in Houston. Delivery in Hyderabad was smooth too with the local team (Ms Sandhya) contacting me and delivering the items. Their customer care was good as whenever I called, they did pick up the phone and answered me. The cost for each box was on the higher side and also there were charges (Rs1250 per box) once they were released from customs which was not informed earlier. All items came intact eventhough the boxes were opened and resealed.
My shipment from USA received in good condition but one thing I d like to mention here is that custom clearance took long time around 2 months also they had charged me 25 dollars extra for over weight but my shipment was containg used clothes means the value of goods was less than which I have to pay anyway Mrs Sini was in regular touch with me she Co operate till my shipment received thnxx a lot to her also Sandhya mam understand my problem in a good manner thnxx a lot to u both 😀 Anand Sharma Jodhpur Rajasthan Mob 9828375300

The staff at Universal were very helpful in getting my cargo delivered from US to India. Mr Palani, Leon, Sarvanan, Ilavazhagan, Shymala, Sandhya, Mr Madhusudan and a special mention for Mr Keshav who came all the way to my house to collect the documents as I was unable to send them and also Shreya who has been very helpful in every way possible to get my cargo delivered.
