There was a fraud related to our account. Our prepaid account was reduced to minus thousands of dollars. Money was withdrawn from our bank account. As in the case filed by the May 2020 SEC (sec.gov) ("Case 3:22-cv-01967" : Twilio employees manipulated the company's SMS revenues, thereby increasing the company's stock value virtually."), we believe that Twilio or their employees may also be part of this business. The feedback we get is treated like a ransomer, not like customer service.

After sending an email ticket for help setting up my business Whatsapp, I waited for 3 days until I got a very unhelpful email from Twilio. I immediately responded to them again asking for the same question and 5 more days later, they sent me links...links I already found in the support section. Horrible customer service, horrible wait times. Not only will I not use this service, but I'll advise everyone else to find another service, there's a million SMS companies now, focus on one with good customer service because when you need help, you need it in the moment, not a week later with poor answers.

This is the absolute worst company that has ever existed. The compliancy is absolutely absurd. The management of this company is pathetic. I would not recommend this service company or anything pertaining to Twilio to anyone on planet earth.

I wish I've checked Trustpilot before giving that service a chance! Virtual numbers simply doesn't work for sms receiving with the upgraded account. Voice calls – can't hear the audio from the console. And the console designed is SO poorly... Each step is like a puzzle. Help centre – tons of text which doesn't help. Support – send the longest form I ever saw... I glad that at least I can close the account and (hopefully!!) get back my deposit.

Our experience with Twilio was bad from the start. We had a call with Alexus scheduled way in advance and she never showed for the meeting. She then rescheduled and did not show for the second time. We decided to not even use Twilio at this point. I can not imagine how poor the support would be in the future.

Twilio/Sendgrid is a trash ghost company. We relied on them for our product launch to send out emails to our users for authentication codes. Of course, we only got an email saying that our "limit" of emails was reached when it was reached. We are spending thousands a day in acquiring new users, and currently, nobody is able to sign up or log in because Sendgird isn't sending out the emails! We have been trying to upgrade to a higher plan for 4 days, and it is impossible to do because of an issue on their platform! Their entire Zendesk platform has also been down since I checked it out the first time 4 days ago. (Who knows how long it has been down for). We have been trying to send emails as well and its impossible to get a response from anyone!!! How is something like this possible????

Today Twilio/Sendgrid basically told me they have no control over how their email services are used and have no way to mitigate spam. After reading what they require to purchase service I find it absurd that they do not have the ability to stop one person from sending spam every single day for over a month and going. It's the same exact spam, same links, same text.. but somehow they do not have the ability to stop that? They can't block from sending emails to people who don't want them? They truly act oblivious to the abuse and to me are admitting that there is not a single thing to trust about this company or putting your email campaigns into a company that has likely already been blocked from most email providers due to this level of abuse. And no, this isn't one or two emails but a flood. Every single day and growing by the day. Would seem as a company owner if I had something like this and had no control over it I would be much more critical of who I allow access to and require credit card payment tied to a company name before allowing use of it's network.

Thieves, stealing money under the guise of a war in Ukraine. Twilio was a waste of time and money. Firstly, we created an account, upgrade our plan for $20. They approved our account and then blocked it because we were Russian. 4 interesting facts are below: 1. We are not Russian. 2. Our team is based in Poland. 3. Our company was established in Estonia. 4. And despite the three previous facts, we believe that Twillio are Nazis They did not return the money to us, they just took it and stole it. We donate money to Ukraine, while they just steal money under the guise of a war in Ukraine. Later we implemented WhatsApp integration for free with Facebook API.

I am astounded at all these bad reviews. I use there SMS service to send messaged from my various IOT devices to my cell phone. Very cheap and never a problem. I also use there SIM for a 4G backup. This works fine too.

I was suggested by my website developer to use their services, first of all, after I sign up I get suspended instantly without any reason, and ask me to contact support, then it takes me 30 minutes to find a way to contact support.. the website is EXTREMELY complicated and not user friendly.. it can be so much easier. BAD and HEADACHE service.

Due to some rogue code going live, a developer inadvertently put live a for-loop that sent over 100,000 SMS messages costing us $12000. Twilio made a full refund.

Avoid this company, they want to know everything about your life, why you want to use their service, they don't accept all clients, although they take your identity documents and process them for them, if you apply for a private profile then you are nobody. I applied to a private profile and I ask why I use a company profile, I don't even know what I'm talking about, you are contacted by 4 agents who ask the same questions about why you use their service. If you don't give them all the data about yourself and why you want it, then your profile will be suspended. I have used many other companies but this one is very strict, something like communist, if you don't do what they want then they block you. After taking all the steps, I checked the identity, although I don't understand why I would do this. I didn't activate it to send bulk sms, I didn't use a commercial profile, just a phone number for the whatsapp service that he offers. To be avoided, they don't give any answer if you ask them, only that you are suspended before using their service.

What a joke of a company. I called to ask about some questions because a another contractor referred me and when I called she told me to use the website and figure it out. She said I needed to hire someone to help me get a phone number even though they sell phone numbers

I wish I had read the reviews before paying Twilio money. No customer support, endless questions and excuses. It feels like they discourage people from using their services. Well, lesson learned, the good thing is there are multiple alternatives for Twilio, so I can only say farewell!

If I could I would give -10 stars, f-ing pathetic joke of a company with NO support, at best they will reply to your issues after 1 FULL DAY, and their support always have this I-dont-give-a-fk attitude, they will take 1 FULL DAY to reply and give shtty response even for trival issues that can be solved in 5 minutes. The support always love drag issues on like its not THEIR RESPONSIBILTY

Restricted my account instantly after Paid $20 for account upgrade. What theyre saying is they feels suspicious on my account upgrade. I Wrote to the support a lot of time each time they keep asking for more and more questons, Answered as much as i can but Now they're asking me to upload personal confidential informations, is that appropriate for a company like twilio. I requested a refund now they're not replying
