They have an electronic form for their fact find which was much more simple to complete than word documents I’d seen from other brokers prior. I am a first time buyer trying to navigate the confusing world of mortgages. Lee Oliver was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He did everything and more to ensure I got a great mortgage offer and I’m now so excited to be moving in to my first home and it would not have been possible without him! So I approached trinity as I was reading nothing but good reviews. After I made the call I was called back by a broker call Lee who seemed good and after a video call he knew exactly what we wanted to do. After a week or so he came back with a Coulple of aip and all seemed good until over a video call he suggested that we use the extra borrowing that we wanted for home improvements to pay off some debt that we have ! This is fraud and possibly illegal, My wife was concerned by this suggestion from a broker. She said that trinity must be a dodgy firm to suggest that to us and she stated questioning if we had made the correct choice of company! Anyway we was now weeks into getting our remortgage so felt we had no choice to continue. After this we didn't hear anything for weeks until we had to chase Lee by calling and leaving messages, emails and WhatsApp until after days of trying he contacted us and said are mortgage offer had been declined by the underwriters! And said he will try for us to get a deal with our current mortgage provider and then we had no communication from him ! Now we are 2 weeks away from deal running out and will be forced into paying a higher rate which we don't know how we will manage. This whole experience with trinity has left us worried and panicking and I wish we has gone to another company. Please be aware
