My overall experience was wonderful. I received a large packet of information prior to the install that answered all of my questions. When they came to my house they were extremely friendly and very respectful. They even took the time to explain to my curious children what they were doing. I felt they had a genuine concern to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. The end result of the product is better than I thought and I have already booked them for additional windows. Alex and Laura were very professional in all our interactions. We had film installed on our lake cabin windows that received hot afternoon sun. The glare created so much heat it would literally melt food left on the kitchen counter! Our first afternoon after the film was installed, we could immediately feel the difference. We were especially appreciative of the list of residential references they sent us, as well as business locations where we could actually see the different films installed before making a final decision. They accomplished the work in a timely manner and it looks fantastic! We noticed the difference in room temperature on west facing windows the first afternoon, and the increased daytime privacy is an added benefit. For about 5 years I chaired an energy-efficiency committee at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane (WA). Our primary focus was funding & installing 75 solar panels. With extra money raised we undertook modifications to our HVAC system & the addition of solar window treatment to our south & west facing windows. The rooms are not air conditioned & were marginally to not usable during 3-5 months of the year. We screened several companies and settled on THERMA SHIELD SOLAR CONTROL after interviewing past clients and examining their work, including work that has been applied for years & in one instance a couple decades. Alex of THERMA SHIELD SOLAR CONTROL worked extensively with us to select the best choice for our needs. Alex and his staff made the installation quickly and expertly. The installation remains today as if it is new. The rooms regained most of their usefulness, particularly when combined with judicious use of existing blinds/curtains, which by themselves did not do the job.

Alex does an amazing job! He is incredibly attentive to detail and takes the time to make sure his instillation is perfect. He spent an extra hour at my house ensuring I was happy with process and properly educated on the product.
We bought a house with a gorgeous view through west facing windows in the living room/kitchen. Perfect for watching sunsets, right? The only problem was the heat and the glare from the sun made us want to escape the room. Having the solar film installed was the best decision we could've made. No heavy curtains or shutters to block our view, and the finished product is beautiful. The tinting is not as dark as I expected (this is a good thing) and the cost of the installation was very reasonable considering how much we'll save on cooling costs. I have already noticed a big difference in the temperature of my home when the sun is out. Overall, we're very happy with the finished product. Alex and Laura are very friendly, and did an excellent job with the install. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.
Work progressed very rapidly Final product looked great. The Security film looks perfect in fact you can't even see where it was installed. I feel that it also made the room quieter because the echo in the room was reduced after installation. Great Company ,I strongly recommend them and will tell my friends how good Alex and Therma Shield is.
First, the film is amazing. I no longer have to close the drapes during the day in the summer and without the glare, my view appears sharper and more attractive than through the untreated glass. Even more important, Alex stands behind his work. My windows were done 4 years ago and just this year I noticed some bubbles in one section of one door. Called Alex and he said, "let me take a look at it." He came out, checked out the window and said, "Yup, that's our problem. Looks like the film brushed against the frame and was contaminated. We'll replace it." And two weeks later he did. No additional charge, it was covered by the original warranty. Gotta love a company that sells the best quality and insists on standing behind it. Five stars from me!

The product was great. Folks were really helpful and timely on things. My biggest issue is the last email exchange I received from the owner. I got a Sunday afternoon email, with a cold demand to pay and a 'threat' to charge my account on file (without my permission to keep my financial info, btw) by end of the following day. I found the tone of the email less than professional considering the work was just performed and there wasn't anything about my behavior to conclude that I wasn't timely on paying the balance. A phone call and/or a more professional email would have improved my experience.
