The Port Perry Community Curling Club was looking for advice and direction with air circulation and filtration challenges. We had two different areas of concern. We knew that we needed to improve the effectiveness of our dehumidified air distribution in our playing area. Ideal conditions for the best curling ice requires strict control of the temperature and humidity in the playing area and we were looking for expertise in airflow matters. We found this expertise with the folks at Lev-Co. Their engineering staff experience and comprehensive computer modeling produced a distribution design that will greatly improve the effectiveness of our dehumidified air circulation at a cost that our small-town volunteer run organization can manage. The current societal challenge of mitigating the spread of Covid-19 had us questioning the best approach to be able to ensure effectively cleaned air within the lounge area of our club. We knew that there were many air filtration manufacturer/suppliers to choose from but none appeared to provide the level of technical specifications that approached what we understood to be necessary to handle the particulate size of the Covid-19 virus. Lev-Co's very detailed technical documentation and their knowledgeable engineering staff provided us with the information that we needed to feel confident moving forward with the procurement of two of their H14 Stand-Alone filtration units. The presence of these units has greatly enhanced the peace of mind of our club members.
