The Contemporary Magician, Lewis Joss is an expert ice-breaker, conversationalist and award-winning entertainer who uses magic to enlighten and captivate his audiences. Lewis started performing magic at the early age of 6 after being taught a few tricks from his Grandfather, he then became very interested in magic and used to ask for magic box sets for Christmas. Lewis then began performing magic to family and friends. At the age of 10 Lewis joined The Magic Circle’s Youth Initiative, The Young Magicians Club and at the age of just 18 became a Member of The Magic Circle. Lewis was also promoted to an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle with a Silver Star. Many years later, from experience of hundreds of shows, Lewis now performs all around the world on cruise ships, works with companies to promote their brands and performs for celebrities at private functions. Lewis has worked on T.V productions with the late Paul Daniels & Debbie McGee and has worked on productions for Channel 5 & Talkback Thames.
We'd like to thank Lewis again for providing such a wonderful experience at John Lewis & Partners Southampton. As a large store and a varied customer base, we had the challenge of finding a Magician to perform and interact with customers of all ages. Luckily for us, Lewis did just that! He was quirky (in the best kind of way), friendly, professional, entertaining and best of all, his magic was jaw-dropping. We will certainly be making contact with Lewis again for any future events. Lewis provided surprise entertainment for our wedding guests inbetween the registry and the reception party and it was incredible. We, along with our guests, were in awe of the close up magic he performed. Would definitely recommend and love to see him again!

Lewis is amazing. We hired him for 2 events - one for children up to the age of 12 and one for young people aged 13 and over. He performed (mind-boggling!) close-up magic throughout the events and a larger trick to end an awards presentation. For both he was funny, engaging, reliable and tailored the entertainment to the event and our requirements. Very happy and would definitely hire him again.

Lewis was hired as a magician for our Nickelodeon event in order to entertain teen influencers. He stole the show and was covered on all their social media! He was extremely professional, very friendly and went around and introduced himself to all the guests to make them feel comfortable and at ease. I couldn't recommend him more!
Lewis recently performed at our wedding reception (26/05/18) at Barton Hall in Kettering. From start to finish he was amazing! He went down a storm with all of our guests and we had so many compliments from our guests on how brilliant he was! He is a really lovely guy and mingled between all our guests seamlessly! We had Lewis come and entertain with some close up magic here at Bodyworkswest Notting Hill, he was fantastic and we had a lot of great feedback from our members. The club owner liked Lewis so much he has booked him for his birthday celebrations. Cant recommend him more !!!!
We used Lewis for a corporate drinks event. He was extremely efficient and professional in dealing with the arrangements for the event. On the evening he was great at putting people at their ease and engaging them. He left our guests wondering how he had worked his magic!

Lewis is excellent! I definitely recommend him to everyone. I came across his website when looking for entertainment for my wedding. His talent is amazing and still to this day have no idea how he does it. All my guest, as well as me and my husband, enjoyed the laughter and WOW's that his performance made. Brilliant performance for year end ball We had engaged Lewis to perform at our end of year ball at Cranfield University and it turned out to be an excellent decision as Lewis was absolutely brilliant. We had requested a combination of mix and mingle magic during the welcome drinks/canape period when people were milling around in the lawn followed by table performances when guests were seated for the formal dinner. Lewis excelled at both these types and was able to strike up a rapport with the guests and keep them entertained throughout the event. His tricks are not your run of the mill card tricks and that coupled with his incredible energy levels meant that all of us had a truly wonderful time. Would highly recommend him. Thanks Lewis. Wow. What can I say about Lewis's performance at a family 50th birthday party in August of 2017? I had done a lot of research prior to booking Lewis, and from his website , reviews , show reel and awards alone, it became obvious how much his talent stood out from the rest. I had minimal contact with Lewis before the event and all the arrangements were done over email, as I was residing in the US at the time and was not able to speak to him over the phone. Lewis was extremely flexible about payment options and extremely responsive to the little requests I had for his performance. Despite driving 3 hours to reach our event- which was held at my family home - he appeared fresh and just as excited as I was to have him there. I knew I could trust him and felt completely at ease the moment I met him. I booked Lewis for a 1 hour performance and boy, did he make every minute worth it. He had an audience of about 35 family members, ranging in age from 4 to 60 and every single person was on the edge of their seat. His performance was riveting, and he has a charming personality that makes the audience feel like they've known him for years. It didn't feel like we had a stranger in our tiny, cramped front room with us. He was extremely patient with the audience, despite having to wait 10 mins before everyone was ready for him to perform. His personality is charismatic and personable, yet professional at the same time. My family were mind blown and his tricks had us doubting everything we believed about magic- he was literally the main topic of conversation for the remainder of the night, and the weekend. I could not speak anymore highly of Lewis, I sincerely hope to hire him again in the future.

Lewis joined us for our Community Engagement Event and I cannot rate him highly enough! He kept our passengers and guests entertained during the event and it was great to see how everyone enjoyed his performances.
