I bought a couple of pairs of Teko socks to wear with walking boots, mainly to be a treat for my feet when walking up steep paths in Bhutan. I've barely taken them off since, as they're warm, 'breathing' and resilient, and maintain their shape after washing. Thy cost more than I would normally pay for socks, so I expected good quality: I am glad I made this investment - as sore feet are no fun. They are well worth the expenditure if you're a serious walker. And even if you're not.
