Search for any domain and see every place they've shown up on Google: every keyword they've bought on Adwords, every organic rank, and every ad variation in the last 11 years. Learn how to connect with these domains, too. Find online and traditional leads methods -- social media, email, phone, and address -- you can't find anywhere else.
Not enough data and is a big waste of money for Keyword search. If you don't get a 1-week free trial just don't go for this company. Note: Maybe this applies to UK companies and they might have better data for US businesses.
Their reports can sometimes be inaccurate but other than that they’re pretty decent at showing you what competitors are doing
This is the best tool of its kind that I found, however there are still some things that could be improved. First, I've tested their reports against a known adwords account I use. Spyfu estimates are very off in some cases. They provide reasonable guesses, but I would caution against assuming their numbers are 100% accurate. Overall, I still use it and will do so until something better comes along.
The quality of the product is impressive, however, this is only when it actually works. We signed up during the summer of 2018. It was slow to update and it got to October and there was still no UK data for July, August or September. Spyfu agreed to give us two months reimbursed but this still left us unable to provide accurate reports to management, frustrating when you've just convinced them to purchase Spyfu. Another key issue is the support. If you're UK-based, you won't receive any, well, not until the last hour of your shift. You see, there is no UK-based team it appears. If you have a problem arise at 9.20am, then you aren't going to have a solution until right at the end of your shift (I've experienced this recently when the website was down all day in UK time but there was clearly nobody around to fix it, preventing me from gathering data for our board).
SCAM ALERT.SPYFU IS A RIP-OFF!!! The product is no better than the free SEMRush. They tell you $33 per month and then when you go to cancel will see they charged your card $399. Stay away. It isn't worth getting cheated.
I've been a Spyfu customer on and off since about 2014. I've usually cancelled my account only when I haven't had any clients or research needs to use it. Since September 2017 I've been on the Pro plan at $99 a month, upgrading from the $39 a month basic plan. Last night in looking at my business credit card statement I realized that Spyfu had been double billing me both amounts for eight months, for an overbilling total of $312.00. I emailed support last night about it and this morning they have already issued a refund. I've worked with a lot of SaaS companies over the years in my line of work, and the majority of them would fight tooth and nail on this or make up excuses - I'm happy to say Spyfu is not like those companies. On top of this, it is a great service for research, though like all SEO/SEM research tools the data is never exact, but only something to help set the table in discussing client strategies and tactics. That said, I plan on keeping my subscription as long as I have enough clientele that needs it.
I had a situation occur where I had two accounts running at the same time. The customer service rep Danielle was wonderful and did all she could for me. Thank you so much for being such an honest company!
Great software with LOTS of valuable SEO features, also attractive pricing when compared to the competition. To me (as a UX design person), the user interface is at times less than intuitive.
SpyFu for me has been a great conversation starter with potential clients. I sent a report to one potential client I had been working with. And the next time I saw him at a meeting, he had it in hand, printed out, and was asking me what certain things met. It's a real help to me.
I feel empowered by the data provided. Spyfu is a shortcut to success and I would recommend to anyone who needs web data analysis.
It helped me to evaluate competitors in PPC and also did a great job with keyword analysis. Definitely recommend it.
SpyFu has lots of great data but after setting up an appointment with a representative, I felt like the person didn't ready want to be there answering my questions so I cut the call short and have been trying to figure things out on my own.
The one free search result is wasted. Even if you key in the correct URL Spyfu messes it up somehow so that you don't get a result and have to pay. Grim strategic thinking!
spufy is a really helpful tool. It helps me get sales in area of PPC marketing.
The reports need to look more professional, higher resolution vs. fuzzy pixels.
This company charged me on my credit card without reason!!! they said 30 days free trial but they charged me anyway!
Tried it but data and features come up way short! I needed local page ranking but not available. SEMrush although more expensive has better results. My go to is Mondovo.com better metrics, ie MOZ and SEMrush and awesome reporting.
Concept is great, but does not deliver. I've downloaded reports as PDFs and had them differ from the same report as a CSV file .I spoke with them today and after they updated their site, they found lots of issues. These may resolve. Customer service was a pain in the neck. Once I spoke with someone, it was fine, but no one answered for days, and email response was slow. When I sent screenshots with my issues, my email was marked spam and we went back and forth about that. The site offers a few features for free, but due to the unreliability, paying for it is no better. This site provides enough to scratch the surface, but don't expect too much from them.
Spyfu does so many things I have even used them all yet. They also have amazing tutorials and great customer service.
It's a useful tool for getting high level insights. The UX could be a little more intuitive and some of the recommendations it makes are a little out of left field, but it's definitely signal > noise. A nice tool to have in the SEO/SEM arsenal.
