The work they did is great. Prompt and didnt leave a mess. However, I've been waiting months for the post cap on my corner post that they did not have at the time of the repair. When I called they told me they would be out to install it as soon as they could. I'm still waiting.

The title says it all. We were still dealing with issues and problems from them a year after we had initially hired them. Do yourself a favor and hire ANY other fencing company

They were great. They were on time, did good work and friendly. But they cut the CenturyLink cable to the house while digging the holes. Centurylink just buried new line. Haven't received a bill yet, but it won't be paid by me!

Split rail left a horrible mess around every post and then throw some of the old pickets on the side of the house and never returned to pick up their mess up. Front office of split rail fence company was told about this but didn't seem very concerned. Will not refer this company to anyone.

They had to come out and adjust my fence 3 times because they screwed it up the first two, left garbage(not construction material) all over my yard and their supervisor was never available

Split rail took over 2 months to figure out what territory I was in. I finally told them that I don't care who the rep is, they just needed to send somebody out to measure and give me a quote. They did a good job putting the fence in once they figured out who the rep was. I called back for additional work and got the same run around with the territory and then they told me they wouldn't do the second job for us. The fence is okay but the customer service is poor at best.

Split Rail fence did a very nice job installing my fence and gate. It looks wonderful and my neighbors have complemented on how nice it looks!

Poor communication, with failed attempts at multiple change orders. The CO attempts failed because I was persistent enough that they realized they were in the wrong and that their claims would never stand up in arbitration. Only use split rail if you document every move and are willing to fight with them the whole time.

Split rail was awesome. We bought a house with a pool and have twin two year old babies and need a fence up ASAP - they were awesome and got the job done quickly and the fence is perfect.

Overall fence looks good but some areas are lacking on the details and a better cleanup job could have been done.

The actual job of installing a 55 foot fence in the backyard and two 8 foot fences in the front with a gate took all of 2 days to complete, and they did an excellent job with that. However, actually getting people out to do this took over 2 months, and that was after paying for 50% of the project up front. Nobody at the main office ever had any idea what was going on and would always refer me back to my sales contact, who was pretty much impossible to get a hold of by phone and took over a week to respond to any emails. I actually had to call and email 3 different people over the course of 2 weeks after the project was done so I could pay off the remaining balance! I love my new fence, but I'm not sure it was worth the 2 months of aggravation I had to go through to get it.

The team work and professional performance was matched by the quality of their product. Top quality craftsmanship.

Splitrail was not good at all in terms of communication prior to the work being done. They did not return calls or emails. I also was required by them to meet Comcast/Xcel at home to locate underground lines. I cancelled appointments to meet them at my house at 1pm. When nobody showed up, I called Splitrail and was told that I was 'waived' given a database search, but nobody thought to inform me. However, the ultimate product was good. I wasn't at all sure there would be a fence around my yard when I arrived home on a Friday evening, but low and behold there was.

The fence is great. Excellent workmanship. Quality product. I had a problem with the Split Rail Fence Representative returning my calls and emails. I found piles of dirt on my property where the drilled the fence post holes. They did not reconnect and secure my fence on my property and I had to request it be secured and reconnected in the front and back of my property. The workers seemed not to want to fix the issue. But after calls to Split Rails Fence it was taken care of. The workers did not leave my side of the property as the found it. I would recommend Split Rail Fence because of the product quality and workmanship but caution close monitoring.

SRFC did a great job on our 4' Cedar Rail fence with welded wire. They were very professional and did the work right on schedule. We had 300+' of fencing that they finished in 2 days. I would definitely have them do more work if/when I needed it and recommended them to others. We have had numerous complements on the fence from neighbors and friends. Everyone likes it. Except our dog. It's doing a great job of keeping him in the yard. Keep up the great work.

Made an appointment with Larry to give us an estimate on our fence damage. He did not show up. When I called to find out why he said he thought ou appointment was 30 minutes earlier and he saw a woman driving away and thought it was my wife. When I asked why he didn't come to the door he said he thought no one was home. I informed that I was inside waiting for him. When I asked if he could still come by he said he was across town. Then he informed me that the compny didn't do repair work anyway (even though the website clearly staes they do). Glad I didn't contract with this firm. Who knows what the work woukd be like.

Poor customer service. I had to call multiple times to verify the install date of posts and then again for fence. Once completed, mud and dirt on fence, a small gap in one section and concrete chunks left in yard. Post caps not placed securely.

Split Rail Fence Company, lead by Chris Stephens, did an excellent job on the fence build between my neighbors and myself. He offered a competitive price and communicated with me when contractors were coming to the property. I evaluated the build with my neighbors and we all agreed that it was a job well done. Thank you Chris!

Pleased with the tear-out, post setting and completion.

Had 2 8ft sections of concrete split rail wing fences and a gate with 2"x4" wire fence applied to the inside of my existing fence to contain our dogs per HOA. Things started off great they installed the wing fences within the first 3 to 4 weeks but the gate they had a little trouble with. They came out twice and tried to install a wood picket gate and I rejected the installation before they could get started. Each time I explained the HOA requires a steel picket gate and I showed him the drawing and asked both times to contact the shop with what we needed. A week or two went by and I heard nothing so I called my salesman and we got it figured out that his proposal just stated "gate" not specifying wood or steel. He got the steel one on order and 4-5 weeks later and with an additional $250 we got what the HOA specified. The HOA came out last Friday and we are awaiting their approval. I believe that the initial miscommunication as well as the general lack of communication contributed largely to the extreme delays. Split rail fence did a professional job during the times they were actually onsite.
