Ordered an item showing "in stock" on their website, only to receive an email next morning to tell me the order has been cancelled, because the item is out of stock!

Beware their returns policy. Unlike other wholesalers, these guys will not accept the return of unused RCBOs. Nowhere on the RCBO product page does it state this, you need to go hunting through their terms and conditions to read this blanket catch-all statement: "...nor can we take back any electronic items or items that are clearly marked as non-returnable...". They claim they are unable to test them so cannot accept them as a return but multiple other wholesalers have confirmed they are able to accept returns. Edit: To clarify, I was never advised at the time of purchase that the items were unreturnable, nor does it state this anywhere on the receipt. Judging by other reviews this business seems to make an concerted effort to prevent customers making returns and are more than happy to double down on bad policy.

Sent back two double sockets 2 months ago using the proper procedure via their returns numbers and they have just completely ignored me ever since. Not a lot of money involved but so so frustrating. Appalling way to run a business, buy from them at your peril, you have been warned.

Brilliant service. I ordered MK grid switches, had a call this morning asking if I was surface or recess mounting the switch as I had ordered the wrong box. It was no trouble to swap the box for the correct one. Not many firms would have taken the time to call and ask. Thank you.

I ordered a shaver light 3 months ago. Due to delay in bathroom renovation it has only just been fitted, and we found it was faulty. I emailed, the first email appeared to go astray, so a week later I rang them, at their request resent the email, got a reply the same day and a replacement (which works fine) the following day. Excellent customer service!

Avoid by all means. They didn't want to return unused item a few days after purchase making excuse about not being able to test the gear, which was clearly unused. Beside, their pricing is way too high and not competitive. Customer service zero points. There are many better priced shops around with friendly service and healthy vibe 👎👎👎👎👎

Rubbish customer service from Sparks after I made an order online and they cancelled because they made a mistake with their website pricing! Rude call from Stefan and would never use again! WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!

I ordered 6 items last week from this online company, only to find they cancelled my order without notification. No phone call, no correspondence - its been a really frustrating experience and they will not reinstate my order over the phone and insist I go back and re-order again.

I went on the web site and selected what I wanted, 20 black plugs. The delivery came the next day but I receive 20 white plugs. I ring them up to say there has been a mistake. The reassure me they will put it right only to email me an hour later to say they don't do them in black despite them been advertised on the web site. I needed the plugs urgently and have had to use them on a temporary basis until I can source the black ones elsewhere which means it's going to cost me twice as much as it should have. To say I am not happy is an understatement

Products were good value, service was excellent. I changed my order from home delivery to collect from store after I had placed it - they were very helpful and immediately changed the order status and arranged for the refund of the delivery charge.

My order was a little unusual in that I required a very high percentage of intermediate switches - they phoned me two or three times, until they actually got a hold of me, to make sure my order was correct - that's never happened to me before. None of what I wanted was in stock, but they ordered it in and it was all on my doorstep within 72 hours - excellent service...
