I had purchased for the first time from Soundcraft HI-Fi via ebay. I found a Denon universal player that I was looking for a long time. Player's description was stated as open box, never used. I called Soundcraft Hi-Fi to confirm if still available and received a very professional service over the phone with all necessary information. Item arrived yesterday with a UPS courier. Item as stated on the description. Highly recommend to shop with them.

Fantastic service. Over the last ten years I have made most of my hifi purchases from a reputable dealer 30 miles from my home (I won’t mention the name, it’s a chain but it is not Richer Sounds), whose service has mostly been more than adequate, but after an evasive and less than full answer to a recent query and three experiences of purchasing from Soundcraft in the last three years, and as many instances in that time of asking their advice, I have learnt to expect more and better service than I have been accustomed to. I will in future endeavour to buy whatever I need through Soundcraft - even though they’re 150 miles from me. Their service can only be described as exceptional and exemplary. On each and every occasion I have dealt with them they have been unfailingly helpful in every way. When you ask them for advice, communication with Soundcraft really is a two-way affair: they listen to you and respond with honest, meaningful, knowledgeable and (as far as it is possible for a retailer to do) unbiased advice. I’ve been used to asking for (and nearly always getting) modest discounts on my purchases with other hifi retailers (and with Soundcraft) in the past, but on this most recent occasion (purchase of a CD player) I didn’t even bother to ask - quite simply, this level and quality of customer service makes it completely worthwhile to pay the full asking price. If only all businesses operated like this. These people obviously have a passion for what they sell and actually appear to enjoy catering for the needs of their clientele. Long live Soundcraft HiFi! This is an absolute gem of a little company to deal with. If, however, they ever need to diversify their business maybe they should consider setting up as business consultants to the business consultancy business! If only the whole world of business operated according to the practices and principles that seem to come naturally to the people at Soundcraft.

I couldn’t fault them. I popped in on the off chance to ask if they were still conducting turntable auditions and booked a slot for a Saturday morning about 3 days later. Sam, who had booked me in several days before, had set up two Rega turntables for me to compare them. I was there for several hours, I was provided with coffee and objective discussion to enable me to make an informed decision on what to buy. Nothing was too much trouble and having made my decision I was told they would even come to my house and install it all for me. Sam brought all the items over, arriving promptly on the agreed time and day, bringing the turntable, cables and microgroove + phono amp. He assembled it all with my existing system, set it up and we listened to a number of songs to ensure it was working correctly. The service provided was excellent and I would have no qualms about recommending them to others.

I recently decided to make a major change to my system. After some research I wanted to audition a Linn DSM. Daniel at Soundcraft set up the listening session and was extremely helpful and informed. Once the decision was made, follow up service was excellent and the new system sounds great. I will definitely revisit for future changes.

I wanted to upgrade the cartridge on my Rega turntable so I gave Soundcraft Hi-Fi a call as they were reasonably local to me, spoke with Geoff on the phone and he was really helpful. I am very grateful for the service provided and my turntable sounds fantastic. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Absolutely brilliant staff expert advice delivered in a way that you understand instead of feeling intimidated bought a fantastic amplifier and was given great advice about upgrading connects made it a great experience and now listening to songs I know sounding better than ever

Even though I brought second hand speakers from soundcraft Sam and Daniel were brilliant. I was able to audition them in store. They were then delivered to me in maidstone and set up,all free of charge. I also got some great cable advice from them, which did not involve me spending any more money. Thank you very much. You will definitely be seeing me again.

I ordered a Denon mini hifi system from Soundcraft over the phone on the 20th October. The member of staff who took my call was very helpful and said it would be delivered the next day (the 21st). It was, and in the morning too Excellent service from Soundcraft!

Wow! Geoff at Soundcraft suggested we audition Chord Signature XL speaker cables on our all Linn system (which was upgraded by Soundcraft last month). The improvement to sonic performance was out of this world and it felt like the instruments were in the room with us. Geoff’s patience and attention to detail on the audition and subsequent install made all the difference. We would have no hesitation in recommending Soundcraft to anyone who is interested in detail and old fashioned customer service.

With Soundcraft and Geoff Mathews one is getting years of know-how, experience and expertise in regard to hi-fi equipment; especially high end. All of this is delivered in a friendly and bespoke manner. The bearing upgrade on my LP12 together with service has made a notable difference. I cannot recommend Soundcraft highly enough.

Great store with great service. I contacted the store through eBay to purchase a turntable. Unfortunately what I wanted was not available and they worked hard with me to find something suitable and within my price range. Postage was quick and well packaged. Absolutely overjoyed with my purchase and thoroughly recommend. Paul in particular was very helpful
