Delivery was quick and everything was intact, complete and in good condition. It took a bit of working out where each part went but I soon got it assembled with relative ease. It took more than the suggested 30 minutes though. One of the threaded fittings turned in the wood and was therefore useless to hold the Allen screw provided so I had to drill a pilot hole and substitute an ordinary wood screw from the other side adjacent to it to secure that part. I then hack-sawed the Allen key screw head that should have fitted in it and glued just the top of it for cosmetic purposes. The other glitch was that despite keeping everything loose as instructed to ensure correct positioning before tightening I found that the arm on one of the chairs was not glued and prepared correctly, standing proud of its tenons by about 5 mm and left a gap making the arm slightly longer so that things would not align for the two Allen bolts that fitted to it. I tried tapping it into place with a mallet to no avail and as I did not wish to prise the glued join open for fear of splitting the wood, I had to resort to more new wood screws to secure the back rest to the arm because the proper holes were just out of alignment caused by the arm not being fitted properly by the manufacturers. But hey ho, it all looks good now and is a fun piece to sit in, in the garden, and enjoy this new sunshine! Its worth the money but be prepared to have to make a few modifications.
