We hired Smyth and Associates to do a full RICS Level 3 Building Survey (Structural Survey) on a property we were looking to purchase and Séamus was brilliant. Quick summary= Completed the structural survey as required. Happy to discuss needs beforehand before committing to survey. Always kept up to date with report e.g. if slight delay does inform you by email. Happy to discuss findings of report afterwards if clarity/ reassurance needed. Appears to have considerable experience in this field of work. Good communicator. Would use again if required and would recommend.

I can highly recommend Smyth and Associates. I was very pleased with the thorough service provided. I had used another firm previously who recommended a Homebuyers survey in relation to a property I was about to buy - the Homebuyers survey pretty much said the property didn’t need any urgent work. My own instincts said differently, so I instructed Seamus Smyth to undertake a full survey and was so glad that I did since the full survey showed that quite a bit of urgent work was necessary - so much so that I decided not to proceed with the purchase. On finding another property, I immediately instructed Seamus to carry out a full survey and am currently proceeding with that purchase instead.
