I had a very bad experience with sequencing. It took almost 5 months for me to receive my whole sequencing results. Customer service gave me the run around for months. No one was knowledgeable about the ancestry and health tests offered in their apps. They also assigned me the wrong haplogroup after using my whole genome data for the genetic ancestry with haplogroup test. 23andme and ftdna had assigned me L2a1i1 while sequencing assigned me X2a1a1. When I contacted them about this issue, they constantly reassured me that I was assigned the correct haplogroup. Even retested my haplogroup again, still assigned me the same incorrect haplogroup X2a1a1. So I asked to speak with the creator of their genetic ancestry test so I could understand why were they constantly assigning me the wrong haplogroup. They became very rude with me, sent me emails threatening to delete my account from their website and also blocked me from their company's page on facebook. I wouldn't recommend this company to no one because they are very terrible! They shouldn't be still in business. Update: This review is definitely not misleading, I have receipts and screenshots to show the bad experience I had with this company. They are quicker to reply to their reviews than solving their customers issues. Focus more on providing better customer service and treating your customers right.

My genetic makeup from an illness standpoint directly correlates with some of my clinical symptoms and experiences. Also my genetic ancestry is right in line with my personal understanding. However these were a few exciting surprises in my haplogroup.

I love Sequencing.com, especially their Ancestry and Geneaology report. It showed both my Southeast Asian ancestry and European ancestry, and it also stated that I also have Arab, Central Asian, ancestry which makes sense. I'm not surprised about me having Arab ancestry, since Islam came to the Philippines from Arab traders and merchants, and another DNA testing company also stated that I have Central Asian ancestry, just like Sequencing did. easy ordering/collection, decent price, regular updates on progress, good/easy navigation of website/portal interesting informative genetic data, which will help me be more proactive in cancer screening and monitoring my predisposition for certain diseases 👍👌

This has provided a medical diagnosis I didn’t have until I ran the report.

I was skeptical of the type of results I would get. I have to say it was quite surprising, though. I’ve looked at several different sequencing companies. I chose to go with sequence.com as it offered a more in-depth study of my genome. Sequence kept me informed of every step in the process. When my results finally came in, they offered a breakdown of the results that made it easier to understand. They even offer multiple other reports based off of your results. The one I like the most is the report on genetic diseases. It has shed some light on several health issues that I’ve had over the years

Initial complaint about the complexity of opening certain files was swiftly resolved. Still waiting on chromosome deletion syndrome update, otherwise great service.

This service is quite amazing. I happen to have a lot of different issues going on and was looking for more information. What a wonderful service. I love how things are broken down and now I can talk to my Dr.’s about the results! Highly recommend!

I first activated my kit in March 2023. Upon following the updates i noticed it had stalled about a month in, seemed my sample was lost. I literally took them 1 full year to get back to me and offered me a 50% refund and then sent out a second kit. That in itself is extremely frustrating. The second kit was activated April 2024, it has since stalled again at a the 3rd stage and i cant get onto anyone and we are 9 months in. It was also promised to be expedited but clearly there are some issues going on within the company for this to happen twice. So to me this is absolutely scam, would not bother.

Great product. Easy to use. However my complex chronic health problems necessitate being able to create & print dynamic Next-Gen Health Screen reports of my Results Summary with a Confidence of ALL selected.

Very useful and complete with good reports and addon as needed. I recommend it if you have a chronic illness you are trying to figure it out.

Sequencing DNA literally helped me find answers to all my health issues. It also helped me to realize why I had such a hard time communicating with others. It has helped me zero in on acute health issues and how to deal with the chronic issues. I am confident that without Sequencing DNA I would not be alive right now. Thank you for saving my life!!! Whole genome sequencing is very interesting. I'm so thrilled that it is now possible to look into your genes to answer questions that doctors are usually only trying to guess at an answer.

WGS is the answer to many of your questions. Problems that would normally take years to pinpoint and many tedious exams, become self evident. Many of the reports give you clear instructions of what you should test next to have the final diagnose from a physician. Take your time to look into your results, better if with the help of a geneticist, and you will get great insights. Prepare yourself to spend quite a bit, but rest reassured that every cent spent will come back to you as a better conscience of your condition and many more healthy life years.

Fast turnover time and really good AI technology to ask about genes. It gives you all the information you need. Really enjoyed looking at the reports specific to my health. You can spend hours looking through interesting data.

Sequencing provided me the answers I needed for some health needs. Great quick service with a ton of information to review. Getting the ancestry lineage was an extra plus. You won't be disappointed in getting a sequence package.

Sequencing delivered as promised. My kit was done at the lab faster than the stated time. The results took me some time to figure out because there is just so much info. The results are provided in different ways across several different apps and reports I access by going into my account at sequencing. The color categorization in the next generation disease screen app is very helpful and helped me distill down what was most important. The ai reports app breaks down the results by health category and i was able to save and print those reports. There’s also the genome explorer app but it’s too technical for me so i usually use the disease screen app and the ai reports app. I also just found they have a marketplace that includes more reports like ancestry reports and nutrition reports but i have not yet had time to get to those as i am still going through all of my results that i got with my kit.

I'm not a DNA scientist, so It's impossible for me to evaluate the quality of their sequencing. However, they appear to have done what they said they would do when they said they would do it. That's what I want from business interactions.
