Schuh online customer service has really gone downhill, the agents just deflect responsibility for the issue at hand with mindless robotic responses - basically incompetent and belligerent on all levels. To cut long story short, paid for next day delivery and the shoes arrived with multiple defects! Contacted Schuh online customer service, but they proceeded to deny accountability for the faulty item. They refused to refund the £4.95 delivery charge despite Schuh being at fault in this case. Very poor trading practice to bill the customer delivery charges for the provision of defective items not as advertised. Considering the aforementioned, I have now lost total confidence shopping with Schuh online. Shame as my past experiences in-store were always so positive.
First time using schuh online. Received completely wrong order and another item (main reason for placing an order) ended up getting an email saying its actually outt of stock. Now have to wait for refund and sort out the return myself for wrong product. Can't recommend and will not use again
Ordered a pair of all white trainers and they arrived in shocking condition. One shoe was literally frayed and YELLOW! (Wish I could upload pictures) I raised a complaint and requested a new pair be sent and they actually sent the same pair back! Again I contact customer service who were so unhelpful it was a pointless interaction. You'd expect a level of quality with a long standing brand but don't hold your breath! Never shopping with them again.
Bought some Ugg slippers for my husband’s birthday. Firstly, delivered to wrong address but still packaged. Opened the bag to find the box extremely damaged and the shoes absolutely stank of cigarettes! The clear label on the sole was also covered in bits, suggesting that it had been removed and then reapplied. When I called to complain, they were out of stock so offered a refund and asked me to drive to my nearest shop 3 miles away to return. They clearly don’t check items thoroughly before dispatch.
Ordered a pair of shoes yesterday and paid £4.99 for next day delivery and hadnt received them so spoke to somebody on the livechat and told that there is a problem with the courier service hermes so say no more i was going to wear them to go out tonight but i went on hermes tracking service and they arent even out for delivery they are obviously lying in a hermes warehouse somewhere so when and if i receive the order it will be going straight back to schuh for a refund
Went into Schuh at Carlisle. Served by Holly. Great customer service, friendly with a super positive attitude. Always a good experience shopping in Schuh Carlisle. Will definitely be back!
Absolute rubbish experience. Placed order for pair of trainers for my son, which subsequently failed due to a fault with the website. Put order in again which was successful. I only received one confirmation email but then got charged twice. Both times next day was selected at an extra cost of 4.99. Only one has turned up and being told order two will be tomorrow. Order two will be sent back for a refund as one of them supposedly failed. Online chat waste of time, clueless and easily confused. Basically adamant both orders were successful but couldn't explain why I only received one confirmation email and the fact the website said in big bold red letter order unsuccessful. Apparently nothing to I donate this happened. If both orders were legit I would be angry I paid a tenner for next day delivery but only one item turns up next day. Very poor and will shop elsewhere in future
I brought some sandles that had a noise as if air was coming out of them as I walked. Sent them back to be exchanged and they sent me the exact pair back how I packaged it to send it to them! Customer service seemed rude and never apologised once. She suggested I sent them back again! But after reading other reviews I'm worried I won't even get them back or my money back so I won't bother. Will never order from Schuh again...don't waste your money or time
The worst online shopping experience I've ever encountered. Schuh use a bank called Klarna to process card payments for their Irish customers. My card was charged twice by Klarna during an online transaction and trying to get a refund was an almost impossible feat. I sent over 20 emails to Schuh and was directed to a 'free' helpline to contact Klarna on. Three phonecalls to this helpline cost me €35. The most expensive pair of shoes I ever bought in the end. Never again. Avoid avoid avoid

Another purchase another drama, paid for next day , had it delivered at work because It would be easier to receive thinking back to last times they have delivered, now these mofos come when my shop is closed , no pre warning or time frame I spoke with shuch thinking they would sort something else but oh yea it’s my fault no one was there and that’s that, I swear u can all go to hell, Has every one forgot customers service, on the surface these companies want to seem fair and fabulous but in truth once u have paid it’s get it if you can, all this shifting blame is ridiculous and u get away with it, at least a little piece of relief comes knowing I can send reviews so the next sucker can have the lies they portray and the real truth from real people, disgusting
If you are going to order online do not choose delivery as they use hermes as their courier. ordered 3 pairs of shoes at the value of around £195 and paid for next day delivery. 2 pairs came the next day but were delivered to the wrong house!! the next day the 3rd pair of shoes came and the bag was open. lucky i even got the shoes!
I've recieved a black pair of chunky sandles I bought online. Size fine and left foot strap fits well but the right foot the strap is so loose. I can't help think I've been sold seconds. Will never buy again sadly.
Purchased in store, shoes felt slightly tight on right foot but sales assistant said it’s just because they’re new and they have a 365 day returns so took them, after only wearing round the house decided to return them but the manager refused saying he couldn’t resell them as they’d been worn! I assured him they’d only been worn indoors and reminded him of 365 day return guarantee but he refused - how can they offer the guarantee for so long if they won’t accept returns! Will NEVER shop at schuh again! AVOID AVOID AVOID 😡

Wow terrible service next day delivery payed for didn’t arrive was a last minute Special gift When gift arrived the box was smashed open so contacted said company to send a completed different box over a week later Think I’ll stick with using OFFICE SHIES. From now on
I wanted to buy my 8 year old son a pair of school sandals I wanted closed toe leather great quality after walking round and round a mall Clarkes and others had nothing M&S had them but only up to size 12 I was so happy to buy a wonderful excellent quality pair of DR Martin Sandles for my son they are smart and strong so happy it was the only shop in the mall that had some I was surprised that Clarkes had nothing I didn't want those cheap plastic sandles for school, I am going to buy him another pair there next time very happy to find shoes/ sandles for an 8 year old school boy, the staff were very helpful
Avoid this company like Covid!!!!! Ordered a pair of £149.00 boss trainers. When I opened the box there was a pair of asos plimsoles that they do not even sell!!! Contacted them by phone, email and live chat to no avail. Am now in the process of taking them to court!
I purchased a pair of trainers online and paid via credit card. I then returned them to a store as they were unsuitable. 2 weeks later, I still have not received my refund. Although I paid upfront by credit card, apparently, because Klarna processed the payment Schuh cannot do anything about it. I purchased the item from Schuh so it's absolutely ridiculous they are not taking any responsibility for this. They make it sound like returns are simple e.g. you've got 365 days to return etc. Their returns are not simple and Schuh will deny responsibility if anything goes on. This was not a 'Buy now, pay layer scenario'. I paid upfront via card. I have simply gone online, seen what I wanted and entered my card details to purchase the item. Now they have the trainers AND my money AND I am getting no response from Klarna. So what now? Beware of this if you choose to make a purchase from Schuh. If there's any issues you're on your own.
I recieved a pair of trainers from Schuh paid for upfront before delivery. All as promised though when recieved were not suitable for myself. As promised by Schuh a no quirms policy is guaranteed. I returned the trainers back , brand new in the original box with the labels attached plus receipt and reason for return as requested! Weeks later I had not recieved any reply nor refund as promised! I contacted the help line to find firstly there was never a transaction ? When that was proven by myself , I was then told I had bought on a pay thirty day layer scheme!! I produced and sent bank proof that I had paid in full ! They said i had provided the wrong email address???? Strange as it is linked to my account !!! Not heard from them since or recieved a refund for trainers or postage and package costs. Given up with them . Be warned
