I can’t believe the difference Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) has made for me. After struggling with thinning hair for a while, I decided to give Grant at scalperfection a try—and I am so glad I did! I recently completed my Advanced Beginners course in Scalp Micro Pigmentation with Grant at Scalperfection and it was such an enjoyable and great experience. From start to finish, the training exceeded all my expectations and wished I had reached out to Grant sooner. Grant is an exceptional trainer who has many years experience within the industry. He has mastered the art of SMP and you can see he has a genuine passion for his craft. He is very welcoming and his teaching style is clear, hands on and engaging. The course was well structured, mixing the basics/fundamentals with practical application (completing a full model from start to finish) which has given me the confidence to start providing the treatment to others. His personalised attention and guidance is what truly stood out to me. He took his time to answer all my questions and correct my techniques whilst I was providing the treatment to the model. There is a reason why he provides 1 to 1 training and that's so he can dedicate the time and attention on giving you the best training experience so you can provide the treatment at the standard it should be. His studio/clinic is awesome and the training environment was very professional yet welcoming. Once I completed the course I left feeling confident and I can now say I am excited to launch my career within SMP, knowing I have been trained by Grant. I was recently a model for training that Grant, owner of ScalPerfection, carried out with Khai, owner of Scalpism. I had a great experience and the best treatment results. Grant’s expertise in this field gave me the confidence to be in Khai’s hands as his first client. Khai showed a great developing skills, dedication and care. I experienced very good customers service with excepcional communication and friendly professionalism. The studio was very welcoming with a very high hygiene standards. I would definitely recommend SMP treatment to everyone.

Grant is 110% the top man in what he does for his company Scalperfection. From start to finish he has been nothing but super professional, super friendly, and knows exactly what he is doing. Cannot recommend Grant highly enough, he is an absolute master of his craft. Tonnes of experience and genuinely cares about what he does, your head is like art for him… he won’t settle for anything other than perfect. I’d had 2 out of 3 sessions with another smp company when I thought something wasn’t right with their work so far, so I reached out to Grant and showed him some pictures who at no cost identified and explained exactly what the other company had done wrong from technique to tools to pigment and exactly how he could fix it. That initial conversation was enough for me to know Grant knows exactly what he’s doing (aswel as the tonne of his work on social media) so I ditched the other company and went with him. I had no apprehension going for SMP again even after my bad experience with another company because he clearly knew his stuff. After three sessions in five weeks with him…. I’m genuinely the happiest I’ve ever been. Confidence is through the roof, it looks incredible, I feel like a new man… and it’s all down to Grant and his work! Literally life changing!

Grant is an absolute gentleman! I have achieved the seamless look that I desired as an FUE procedure back in 2019 had left me with prominent hairline scarring. Fabulous from start to finish. Before booking my SMP training with Grant at Scalperfection. I spent endless hours scrolling through the internet to find the best trainer and training program to suit me.  Why I chose Grant... Grant offered 1-1 training running over 4 days (not large classes consisting of all abilities; that is often all done and dusted in 1 day!)  These 4 days were staggered over a 6-week period. On my training days, I worked on a real client (not a maniquin or fake skin like other companies). I treated the same client throughout my training. Each time the client returned, I was able to assess my previous work. In order to see how the pigment had retained and, from observation and feedback, what I could then do to improve.  As a permanent make-up artist, I have attended many training courses, and I have NEVER attended a course where I have been able to treat the same client from start to finish, like you would in the workplace. This was beyond beneficial for my learning journey.  Grant offered an abundance of knowledge in his field of expertise. He talked openly about his career, and I felt at ease asking him questions about all aspects of scalp micropigmentation.  As a trainee, I felt at ease, comfortable in the learning environment, supported, heard, and full of confidence after completing my course.  I completed the course many weeks ago, but I have still been in contact with Grant, and he continues to support me in my new career. Thank you, Grant! When investing in your future, invest wisely.  Do your research, and if it's a bargain, please ask the question, Why? 

Was very apprehensive at first when it came to smp with seeing so many terrible attempts and seeing people with shiny grey heads. I was recommended Grant by a friend and a family member and from the first message he was brilliant ! Any questions I had he answered. Any doubts I had he put me at ease. Today was my 3rd and final treatment (until touch ups) and honestly, it’s come out better than I expected. I’ve not worn a hat since my second session and us Bald men love a cap or beanie ! Grant is a perfectionist and takes amazing care of his clients and his work. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my SMP transformation. From the get go Grant gave me all of the information I could ask for and throughout each treatment session he made me a priority even with small actions like taking my coat and hanging it up for me, I honestly felt like I was visiting an old friend and the aftercare has only increased that feeling. Recently finished my treatment with Scalperfection and I’m more than impressed with the final result. Having originally had SMP in 2018 I wanted my SMP bringing up to date so had laser removal and chose Scalperfection to give me the best SMP there is out there, after seeing their results on line. It was a 9 hour round trip per sessions but so worth it. Grant is a great guy who is knowledgeable, has fantastic attention to detail and is really easy to get along with. A great choice if you are considering SMP.

Visited grant today for another treatment, absolutely fantastic as always, grant is professional in every aspect in what he does,by far the best out there I have seen and read about.

I’d give Scalperfection more than 5 stars if it were possible. Grant is an absolute perfectionist and after months of researching SMP I’m so glad I chose to take this journey with him. I’m one week post my third & final session and the results are sensational. I’ve had numerous compliments on the SMP from my other half - she’s the only person who knows I’ve had the treatment, which is great, because it’s so subtle no one else can put their finger on it. This is exactly what I asked for and Grant delivered in abundance. Please rest assured you are in safe hands with an absolute artist who takes the upmost pride in his work, using the best products available.

Hair thinning in your 40s and 50s as a woman can be really depressing and frankly embarrassing 😳. After years of nasty hair extensions, which just ultimately made things worse, in February 2023 I actually sat in a barbers shop and asked them to shave my head (Brittany Spears moment). They'd shaved about a third and I asked them to stop!!! (On the basis that i had no actual wish to be bald). I.paid them (!!)and left...then spent the next 15 months trying to grow it back, covering it up with caps and head bands. My hair is actually quite pitifully thin, with receeding patches around the temples. I'd stopped going out socially (you can't really wear a cap to go to nice restaurants after all)... Then I came across an add for Scalperfection. I knew it wouldn't bring my hair back, bit it's really helped to disguise the white scalp! I'm no longer afraid of the wind blowing my hair. The best part about the treatment is how Grant just puts you at ease and doesn't judge you. The treatment doesn't hurt (just slightly uncomfortable in a few places) and the time passes quickly as Grant is great to chat to. I'm so happy I had my treatment ☺️
