I purchased the Luna Off White Virtue Vitrified Porcelain Paving Slabs in late summer and had them laid in October. My tiler was excellent.I was very happy with the look and feel of the tiles when they were laid. The leaves on the nearby trees were falling and resting on the tiles and the garden was wet and a little mucky. When I tried to brush off the leaves I noticed the outline of some leaves and any mucky footprints were staining the tiles. I proceeded to wash the tiles with a firm brush head. The stains were still visible. I then power washed the tiles and most of the stains were removed but some remained visible. I contacted the Irish office who had been very prompt with all replies and given an excellent service. I wanted to let them know that I was very disappointed with the tiles given that the website was advertising the tiles as Ultra-Low water absorption rate provides Exceptional Stain Resistance (which means Minimal Maintenance). I was advised to apply a porcelain protection product when the tiles were clean and dry. I am waiting until the Spring now to do this but I am not confident that the tiles will ever be clean enough now to get a good result. Very disappointed at this stage.
Purchased Indian sandstone for a patio from Royale Stones Ireland, and have to say the product was of top quality. The stone has a beautiful finish with a good variety of features and colours running through it. They were the most competitive on price, and the free delivery made for even better value.
