Resume builder advertises themselves as a "free" resume creation tool. It is not. The only format you can download for free is a .txt file, which includes none of the formatting (the whole point of using a resume creation tool in the first place). They trick you into wasting your time creating a resume, then deny you access to said resume unless you purchase a subscription. Completely dishonest marketing. Do not waste your time using this service. EDIT* responding to resumebuilder’s comment: There was no misunderstanding. The whole point of using a resume building service is to create a resume using a visually pleasing template (which is what you advertise). Plain Text (.txt) files do not preserve or store any sort of formatting, which means that the template supplied to the user is not preserved in the .txt file. Therefore, you should be very clear about the fact that users will not be able to use any of the templates you provide unless they purchase a subscription.

Didn't get past entering my contact details, as I noticed that by entering your email address, you "agree" to receive promotional emails. While (unfortunately) still legal in the USA, this is poor practice. Customers should be able to sign up for your service without automatically being opted into marketing messages.
