No contact since they got my manuscript

It has been over a month since I did my book signing. They paid me the wrong amount for my royalties; and now, they won’t issue me a check for the correct amount.

it seeemed like pushing very hard for the next "sale" vs fully explaining the current process. person was very "read from the invite" and didn't go over cost until asked 3 times.

Don't contact an author and mention payment as if the author is rich. If I was rich, I wouldn't be doing this. If I say I will make payments in installments then understand that. I have one more payment to make and the same aggression I am ask for payment I want for my books to be successful

Rep was a fast-talker, very enthusiastic, etc. & sent me info very promptly to which I purchased entry into the Miami Book Fair the next day. However, I have asked for details like the hours of the fair, what my role will be, etc. since I will be going in person... I have yet to receive any more updates. I did get a call & a MAJOR push from a marketing person to pay for yet more for you to market my book further... & when I told them I was not interested because some of what they were now offering to me for an add'l $4,000+ was what has been offered to me by other booksellers to just attend their book fairs. Maybe I booked with the wrong book seller????????

Everything was a scam!!! The company is NOT a reputable business and they even had the audacity to say "We are not in the habit of giving back a customer their money.", when I asked for a refund of my down-payment 3 days after I had paid them when the law REQUIRES them to return a full refund, if asked for, within 10 business days!!!! The 3 physical stores they used as selling points, were little more than over stuffed, disorganized, piles of books on a bookshelf in an user-UNfriendly and tight storefront that looked as if it were a janitorial closet where people just threw old books into!!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Authors BEWARE and STEER CLEAR of this pitiful company!
