Very quick service and paid the price quoted with no hassle x would thoroughly recommend
Fast payment, easy process, couldn't recommend highly enough.
So easy to fill in the forms. The company sent emails all the way through the process so I knew exactly what was happening. Extremely fast payout. To be honest I could have sold it on eBay and possibly got a bit more for it but by the time the fees were paid there wasn't much difference. I would happily recommend this company. You get exactly what it says on the tin
It took over 5 days for the sale to be dealt with, I dealt with another buyer and phone was posted on the Friday and received my payment on the Monday
Brilliant service. First class. Genuine no nonsense, no quibbles - would recommend.
Excellent service provided
Best price for my phone by far!
No issues and quick not received payment yet but had been issued
Easy to follow process with friendly staff. Delivered the parcel for sending the next day and payment within 2 hours of them recieving the phone
Excellent price offered for my phone, and paid in full within 2 days, faultless overall performance
Quick service and good communication. Would recommend.
Following on from my previous review - of 1 star - the problems I encountered with my trade in were eventually resolved but not to the full trading price I would have expected. Some members of the Rapid Phone Buyer team still need to review their costumer services which I told the company on my final phone call with them. After a lot of negotiating on both ends of the phone call and 3 months of toing and froing, I have received and banked £60 for my iPhone 6 which is still a big step down from the initial offer of £115, but better than the £40 I was then offered for it.
Fab - got quote Friday, user return pack came Saturday, posted same day. Texted by RPB Monday confirming received, Tuesday text by RPB saying item was being tested, texted again same day saying item had been approved and cheque was in the post- Wednesday cheque arrived 1st class post. Wish everybody I dealt with was as efficient and professional as RPB. Well done, would use you again without hesitation and will tell my friends and family to do so also. 5/5
Quick no fuss service
A very good and rapid service
Excellent service. Kept updated the whole time & paid what was quoted. Very happy customer
The initial online quote experience was promising; easy to open an account and a good price was offered of £37 for my Samsung S3, which was in full working order and very good condition. The postage paid envelope arrived quickly so all seemed well. I charged my phone up, cleared down all the apps and data and posted it off including all the original box and packaging and even the protective case I had bought for it. From there on I can only say that I believe I was treated unfairly, and then with contempt when I raised my concerns. When the phone was received by Rapid Phone Buyer, it was assessed the same day as expected, but I received an email saying that there was a problem in that the battery was bulging and therefore faulty, and the screen was showing signs of image burn. The only options were to take a revised offer of £12 or pay to have the phone returned, effectively wiping out the chance to sell it elsewhere, which is, in my opinion, Hobson's choice. As I was travelling at the time and very busy, I took the decision to accept the price for now and then contact the company afterwards to ask them to reconsider. When I got back home from my travels, I sent an email explaining that all batteries bulge with age but it could easily be replaced for a couple of quid, and that I had used that phone myself and that I was certain that it did not have screen burn when it left me. Therefore I believe a £25 or 67% reduction was not justifiable, and asked them to reconsider their position before I left a review of my experience. I fully expected their customer service team to come back and split the difference and send me another £12 to settle to issue, allowing for any benefit of the doubt. How wrong I was! Instead, having had to chase them for a reply, I received an anonymous email stating that they acted within their Terms & Conditions, and that my email constituted slander and they reserved to right to take legal action against me!! A very interesting attitude to the online commerce feedback forum world we all now live in. On reflection I admit I made the mistake of accepting the revised quote in order to keep the transaction moving, thinking it could be challenged later when I was back in the UK and had more time to deal with it. However, in my many years working in sales and customer service, in such circumstances, I would never threaten to sue a customer for giving me feedback and a fair opportunity to reconsider my company's position. My approach would have been to explain how to deal more effectively with such a situation in future, and to offer a goodwill gesture. I am flabbergasted to be treated with such contempt, and consequently will not be using Rapid Phone Buyer again. I have had smooth and fair transactions in the past with similar companies, so I know this is an unusual situation and I was unlucky to have my phone assessed by someone who had a very different opinion of my handset, which I know I took great care of, as I do with all my devices. I also acknowledge that their review rating is over 90% to date, so the vast majority of their transactions go without hitch, but it is clear to me that when things go wrong they are not interested in resolving an issue in the interests of customer care, preferring to sweep it under the legal carpet and dismiss it. That approach may well be acceptable to many consumers but is not the sort of company I like to do business with. I will leave it to you to make your own mind up as you only have my opinion on this matter, and if you do decide to give them a try, I only hope you will be luckier than I was.
Brilliant service - quick and easy
Excellent super fast service. Highly recommended
