Sent this company my faulty mobile phone, having ticked the box confirming it was faulty before issue. Despite it being faulty they were still able to offer c. £105 for the phone according to their website. However, once they had 'checked' it, it was 'too faulty' and was totally unsalvageable, so they said. It met all their 'faulty' criteria (wasn't physically damaged, bent, water damaged etc) and considering their website doesn't define what constitutes 'too faulty' this would all appear to be a con. Since they returned the phone (at least they did this for free) I subsequently sent it to another company who offered slightly less. They tested the phone, found it to be in need of minor repair, and paid out! Beware of Rapid Phone Buyer!
I initially submitted a request for an iPhone locked to Vodafone network and was offered £72, but was told via email that if I managed to unlock the phone I would be offered £92. I had the phone unlocked by Apple and sent it to Rapid Phone, but I was still only paid £72. I have tried to contact Rapid Phone to query this but so far have not received a reply.
