Why so many bad reviews??? I ordered full set (primer, paint, lacquer) for my Jaguar XJ, a little apprehensive as, on their website my registration cited "red", however the set arrived and the 'caviar, pearlescent' colour was perfect. I had all of the fine glasspapers, and taking my time I repaired all of the paint chips, rust bubbles and minor scratches that I'd been quoted £1100 for... the finish was very pleasing. More than happy to reuse Paintnuts and recommend.
Communication was friendly and excellent. The product arrived on time and the colour is spot on, even though my car is over 20 years old! My car now looks smart. Fantastic! I’ve already recommended PaintNuts to family.
Paint is like water, impossible to apply as it drips off the brush before you get close to the area needed. Bottle lid brushes were frayed so again, impossible to apply cleanly. Primer like thick glue, again impossible to apply!! Utter waste of money.
If I could give zero stars I would. Colour match was completely wrong and beyond hysterical. Nowhere near the colour of my car and I wish I could attach a photo to show how ridiculous of a difference it was. I did get a refund but I wouldn’t bother wasting your time even ordering in the first place. They said it is hand mixed to match. Do you have Stevie Wonder working for you?? Not only was it the complete wrong colour it was poor quality and like nail varnish. AVOID
I ordered a touch-up paint only to find I had received an empty package. I complained then another package was sent out. The whole process dragged on for weeks. Disappointed.
I never got the paint I ordered after 2 weeks of waiting, but they did give me a full refund. Not sure what happened there but I can't exactly recommend them. I'm all for keeping it local but...
Bought some for my Hyundai Tucson as I had a few chips on it. Just gave my reg number which I was a bit dubious about because even in my log book it just says blue, not Caribbean blue. But they must have looked it up and sent me Caribbean blue and it matched perfect. Thank you!!
Brilliant help and advice, plus good communication to advise the customer, me ie I needed an additional gel coat to match my car, thanks guys if only all companies paid so much attention to detail as you do,Big thanks to you all superb in all ways
Absolutely shocking company. I ordered a paint retouch spray. Its the wrong colour. I double checked it was the correct code and it was. The labael on the spray bottle correct but the colour is completely wrong in the bottle. I emailed and raised a case 3 days ago for a full refund, expecting a response as it says within 1 working day and not received any response. I do no recommended this company. They dont communicate back.
I placed an order for a colour match to my car. I ordered as a fast track aswell. I began to panic after I hadn’t received the confirmation email but thankfully took a screenshot of the order number. I waited a couple of days and after hearing nothing I called the number from their website. I cannot fault the guy I spoke to and wish I could remember his name. He was pleasant and very friendly and happy to help. He send me a copy of the confirmation email. Chased the order and explained everything to me. I received my order the next day (today ans I write) and it was spot on! Very glad I hadn’t checked the reviews of the company beforehand or I’d have been put off. My experience was great and I’ll definitely use them again!
Having used spray paint from various retailers to make small repairs to my 2004 Audi, none of which matched well, however having entered my car registration into their website I received spray paint which was delivered the next day and which is a perfect colour match, amazing given the car is 19 years old, so impressed I have ordered some more paint to do some additional touch up work..
Crap Company, Avoid At All Costs, I Ordered their Specially Named "UPVC Rosewood Touch Up Paint" I received a Tin (Small, Less Than Quarter Pint) Tin Of "Bright Pink Paint", ??? Rang Them And Spoke To Some Bloke, Who Said They Don't Do Returns (Which I'd Wanted to Do) and, They Don't Give Refunds !! Eh!! The Tin Of Useless Paint Cost Me Circa £18.98 UK The Bloke/Lad ? Said During My Cal To Them, "I Think We Have Reached An Impass" and immediately Put The Phone Down On Me, !!! I wasn't At All Rude, And was Very Patient During my Call, (Perhaps He'll Have It Recorded So To Confirm I Hope, ? Steer Clear and Be Warned Fortunately I Bought Via Their E,Bay Outlet, and Also Paid Via PayPal, Who Have Very kindly taken Up My Case, I'll Let You Know Here How I Get On, Meanwhile, Anyone Want A Tin Of Bright Pink Paint, ???
Worst company with paints. Their product is crap, do not match the original color, prices are double than any other website you can get them from. Also, customer service is horrific. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Awful customer service, talk over you, paint is awful and runny, not the same colour, put straight in the bin! Waste of money!
Awful touch up paint. Bought a 50ml bottle and the paint is WATER THIN. Shook and stirred the s*** out of it, no change. Impossible to apply using any of the usual methods and I've done them all in my time. Results look like lacquer with a few pigments swirls in at best. Given the customer service comments, I won't waste my time contacting them, just accepting that I've written off £25. But, lesson learnt, won't use paintnuts again.

Ordered on there website with registration number etc. After reading instructions on bottle proceeded to apply paint to my car. Totally wrong shade of silver and looks awful. Complained to company and all they done was replace bottle with no apology for the mess it’s made to my paint work. Please avoid this company if they don’t have the decency to apologise!!
Paint quality was terrible, the paint was thin and watery and not the same.colour as the previous can I ordered although the same number. Customer service were not helpful at all. Very disappointed in the service received and quality of the product.
I put the details including the codes of the paint I wanted, they sent me what they thought was the correct paint but it was miles out - totally different colour! They did reply via email but told me that I would have to place another order but they cannot guarantee that would be right either! Cowboys - AVOID at all cost unless you like wasting money
Poor colour match and very thin (watery) paint. I got Audi 0A9 pearlescent white touch up but it was too white in colour and thin as mentioned. Even if was the correct colour, it would have taken multiple coats.
