Was loking for a Cloud service with hotlinking and found this. The interface looks very nice and clean, I like that a lot. And offers great features too like WevDAV connectiblity that is very usefull to me. So far, so good :)

You can't go wrong with OpenDrive for hosting your music files. The ease of use really makes OpenDrive worth using. Manage and share files directly from your desktop.

It's good but if you get paid account it goes better and better easiest way of file sharing with a good speed at upload and download.

I found Open Drive useful and simple: - I appears as a drive in Windows Explorer, no sync complication. - Share link in File Proprieties - Webdav working on mobile phone (only download by now)

Nice service and quick, Opendrive indeed provides nice and quick services for uploads and downloads, however on the contrary to other providers doesnt provide download links for other, like for wherein I would like to give a link to someone to download an audio file apart from embedding in my code, Overall opendrive is an oki service but lacks downloading for third party

OpenDrive works great for storing photos, music, documents... pretty much whatever you want. I especially like the backup and syncing capabilities of their software. I would recommend OpenDrive to anyone who is in need of more storage space at home or work.

I tried a lot of online storage services to backup my personal data (photos, documents) and to stream my music collection. And I have chosen OpenDrive by several reasons. First of all, they offer unlimited plans for very reasonable prices. I can backup all my photo gallery, music, projects without any worries about available space. I can share my files with OpenDrive users as well as with anyone else, who has Web-browser. They have best ever application for Windows - it plugs into Windows Explorer and allows browsing your storage as your local hard drive. (They seem to have same good app for Mac, but I don't have Mac to test it) I can open my files directly from OpenDrive, edit them and they will be automatically updated there. I can stream my music to any media-player. What I need is only double-click on mp3. But the best feature they have is Secure folder. Files are encrypted and decrypted on my computer while being uploaded/downloaded with AES-256. (Yep, I'm paranoid! :D) The only concern, that this feature is available only on desktop app, but I beleave they are going to add it to mobile versions soon.

OpenDrive is very easy to use and has all the features I could possible expect from online storage. I can store unlimited data away from my computer, synchronize them with my other computers or back them up. Really nifty! Upload is pretty quick and hotlinking/direct linking is what is unique about OpenDrive. Great work! Love it.

Great service. I've used the other cloud storage services out there. Dropbox, skydrive, etc etc. Why do I choose OpenDrive? 1) scheduled backups OR syncing. 2) all of my files exist in the cloud It works great for me, to say the least. With every update there are more features added. I feel bad for some of the reviewers here, as they are now missing out on a great product. I don't know how they were before, but I can tell OpenDrive has worked hard to streamline their applications. I use it on Mac, PC and my iphone. Love it!

Is it a scam? I have no idea, but their software does not work for the Mac. Here's what their General Manager [name removed] had to say: "We apologize for the problems you are having with the Mac app. We are in the middle of a major overhaul that we expect to be completed in approximately 1-2 weeks that will ensure that all problems are resolved, and that it is more solid than ever. At that time, we will also be obtaining certification from Apple verifying that it passes their standards as well." Apparently this has been going on for a while. After 12 email exchanges (they will not answer the phone), they have agreed to refund my money. If you have that kind of time on your hands, by all means give it a shot. Otherwise steer clear.

This is more of a criminal organization They will steal your money! They will browse our files and steal what the like. As well as they will not offer you any compensation for there complete failures. Don't trust the trial period! They will keep charging. The manager will personally try to screw you out of your money. (This is my second review because opendrive had my original review flagged for using the managers name in it. Apparently they don't what the public to know who the manager is even though its public information. Even though its has been several month I felt the need to rewrite my review to keep the public informed. My experience began by paying for the service as a Trial. However I ended up being charged. I opened a few support tickets. The responses from Opendrive took nearly a week. They were condescending and rude when they finally answered. They offered an update to the software and told me they were having problems with there software. I had committed a lot of time at this point and I was told I would be refunded and not charged. After nearly 2 months of back and fourth. I said enough is enough. Just cancel and delete my account. A few months passed and I realized they were still charging me. I called and submitted a support tickets. They refused to issue a refund or an apology. I work in the film industry and found my film on Torrent sights. This is footage that NO one had access to but my self and them. Further more Immediately following my request for a refund my credit card started receiving Bogus charges. A new corporate card that had only been for this service. I was forced to cancel my CC and dispute the charges through the bank. Additionally I reported the data theft to several appropriate authorities. This is a horrible company. I would disclose the Names but my previous review was flagged for proving them EXTREME DANGER!!!

I wasn't ever able to even configure their terrible software to select a folder to back up. The client froze due to the poor quality of the software. I contacted support who FULLY ADMITTED the software "didn't work" and they politely asked me to wait for new software. I said I did not want to do that. I also asked for a refund since I had never uploaded one byte of data to the service successfully. They refused. They also refused to cancel my account, rather they quoted the T's & C's at me. This company clearly puts profits before customer service. Do not trust your data to them! I now use Crashplan and couldn't be happier.
