My initial impressions were positive as there were quite a few positive reviews on the Internet. Installation was straightforward and I had no problems setting the software up initially. To upload my files took days. I lost track of the time it took to get them into OpenDrive's cloud storage. To be fair, they say you can send them a disk but that's not really feasible from UK. My problems started when I upgraded my OS to Mavericks. I lost the tasks that synchronized my backup files. The implication was that I'd have to start again. The thought was (and is) horrifying. OpenDrive support are a whole new unpleasant experience for me. First of all they advised me to switch my computer on and off. They also said that they did not support the Mavericks OS and were waiting to test it before proposing a solution. There's been a chain of e-mails with OpenDrive repeating the same thing. My question is why should I have to check every program on my computer for compatibility before upgrading the OS? That's impossible. This is OpenDrive's consistent response because they don't support my OS. Incidentally, OpenDrive don't provide refunds irrespective of the circumstances. My advice is to avoid them if you expect a good product and helpful support.

Just what I was looking for-simple and easy to use and extremely versitile! Many levels of service incase I need to upgrade in the future. Thx!

Having tried many web hosting sites and having struggled with their systems I have found this by far the quickest and easiest site to navigate, upload and retrieve files. Highly recommended!!!!

I received an email from a friend with an upload link to OpenDrive. Decided to try out the free services and love that you get 5gb for free. Thinking about trying the paid services. Would recommend. UPDATE: They are supposed to give you free hot-linking if you leave a review about their services. Still have yet to receive that feature so I ding them 1 Star to 3 Stars for not delivering on their promise.

OpenDrive - Cloud Backup Service: Please stay away from OpenDrive. This company offers a sub-part product, Poor quality and slow backup service and does not process refunds due to the "terms and conditions". Story: Last Sunday i signed up for the service and after 4 hrs realized that it was not going to work with my Mac running OSX Mavericks. I opened a ticket and received a phone call from the service desk that they have issues with the client and did not know when it was going to be fixed. I have a 40 gig hard drive to backup and the service upload 4 megabyte in 22 hrs. WOW. Anyway on Monday (Yesterday 10/29) i called to cancel the service due to the fact that they are not meeting my exceptions. Today, I received a note that my service was canceled however they will not be issuing a refund. $129 out of pocket for nothing. WOW. Stay away people.
