MediTutor was set up by two medical professionals, Shane & Matt, in the friendly city of Liverpool. Little did one know that an avid Arsenal and Tottenham supporter could come together to create such a unique customer-centred company. Both of us have recently been through the hurdles of studying hard for exams whilst applying to university giving us a firsthand understanding of what students want, need and deserve. We noticed that most educational consultants are saturated in the South and wanted to make it easy for students to seek expert advice conveniently and quickly somewhere close to home. As a company our ambitions are simple: 1) Provide you with the knowledge and skills to stand out 2) Provide you with high-quality local courses close to home 3) To improve access to professional subjects for students from less affluent backgrounds 4) To increase the support to veterinary applicants both locally and nationally
Great insight into interview practices for veterinary studies with all aspects considered. It certainly made my daughter think further about what is required for a successful interview regarding knowledge and techniques.

After an initial phone consultation with Shane, who advised us how MediTutor worked, we signed up for a one to one MMI 3 hour tutorial and 2 one hour tutorials so our daughter could practice vet med questions for her upcoming university interviews. Unlike another company that I had researched, MediTutor was caring, efficient and streamlined, and responsive without being intrusive, making it straight forward to book and pay. Shane was quick acting given it was just after Christmas that my daughter’s interviews were taking place. He allocated three great tutors, two of which were at the universities for which she had the interviews. These were informative and very practical, giving my daughter the tools to go into her first ever interviews better prepared. We are so glad to have found MediTutor and will certainly be using them again whether for further interviews or for help and support at university. Thank you!

Sam Seaborn prepared me 2x1 hour mock interviews and they were very helpful in understanding the interview format, particularly with a time limit. His questions were thoughtful and he even related some questions specifically to my personal statement. His feedback was also quite constructive and after my two sessions, I felt more comfortable with the interview process.
