MediTutor was set up by two medical professionals, Shane & Matt, in the friendly city of Liverpool. Little did one know that an avid Arsenal and Tottenham supporter could come together to create such a unique customer-centred company. Both of us have recently been through the hurdles of studying hard for exams whilst applying to university giving us a firsthand understanding of what students want, need and deserve. We noticed that most educational consultants are saturated in the South and wanted to make it easy for students to seek expert advice conveniently and quickly somewhere close to home. As a company our ambitions are simple: 1) Provide you with the knowledge and skills to stand out 2) Provide you with high-quality local courses close to home 3) To improve access to professional subjects for students from less affluent backgrounds 4) To increase the support to veterinary applicants both locally and nationally

I attended the only UK veterinary MMI course offered by meditutor. Was an extremely insightful and valued experience. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend Shane and his team for their brilliant work.
MediTutor worked with me to find a way around my financial constraints. I totally recommend the 10-hour package because it is just the right amount of time to cover everything and become confident. Your experience depends on the tutor you pick, and I was really lucky to have Dottie Foster as mine. I have tried another vet-interview mentoring company before, and I can say MediTutor was the best. The handbook you get from them is also priceless! Honestly, it is so good that if you are really short on money for 1-1 sessions, just working through the handbook you get will you a long way.

Flexible tutors that work around your schedule! I purchased the 2.5 hour session with a veterinary surgeon and during which we went over 1 hour theory and 1.5 hours of MMI practice. At the end I had a detailed PDF provided of where improvements are needed.

I contacted Meditutor to help with my daughters university application process. Her tutor was totally dedicated to helping her achieve success. This is how: 1. Went through all aspects of UKCAT, giving time saving methods for each section. 2. Ensured personal statement was of the quality needed. 3. Checked over school reference and advised on relevant additions or changes. Provided a list of realistic universities to apply to. My daughter received interviews for 3 of the 4 uni’s she applied to. Her tutor then helped her gain confidence with interview techniques and practice questions. She has been successful in her application and starts in September 2020. Her tutor has now gone above and beyond anything we expected by passing on his medical studies books to her, and offering to support her on her future path into medicine. I couldn’t recommend this service enough.... it is second to none.
After an unsuccessful application to Medicine I decided to take a gap year and reapply, I sought help from Meditutor which provided me with a great tutor strongly dedicated to helping me achieve my goal of receiving an offer for medicine. They first helped me with my UCAT exam; sharing their best tips & tricks to achieve a competitive score. I had improved dramatically from the previous year, then with my new UCAT score my tutor took time to consider where I had the best chance of applying and sent me a spreadsheet listing how likely I would be of receiving an invitation to interview, from this I chose which medical schools to apply to. I also received excellent advice on how to write a Medical Personal Statement including multiple drafts, explaining how each edit can enhance your medical application. From this great help, I received 3 medicine interviews. ** My tutor then prepared me for my MMI interviews, explaining different stations to me and improving my interview technique, whilst loaning me books to help with the interview process. Throughout the medicine application I had access to on hand support that really boosted my confidence, and made me believe I had a shot in medicine again. I received an offer for medicine and my tutor kindly donated their old medical textbooks, giving me the best start to medical school I could’ve hoped for, again, going the extra mile they didn’t have to. I appreciate all the help and confidence Meditutor has given me for my successful application.
Just a little post to say that MediTutor tutoring is second to none. The tutor we had was Natasha, and she was so lovely. Friendly, explained things so well to my son and now something good to come from being isolated he can do do ‘fractions’ Thanks again would highly recommend x

I think medi tutor is great because my daughter has two tutors and one is Shane and the other is Stephen and after every lesson she comes back to me able to recall every detail of the lesson.

Shane helped my daughter with her preparation for medical school interviews. His coaching was extremely beneficial and, as a result, she starts at her first choice medical school later this year. I cannot recommend Shane enough. He is professional and has a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Meditutor has really gone out of their way to provide me with the best service possible. They sourced someone who had had an interview at the university I had an interview for and they provided me with more information about the course structure, questions I could expect as well as different techniques on how to answer them. I also had a 2 hour session with one of the tutors who used their own experiences to guide me on how to format my answers. They made me feel relaxed and at ease and have improved my confidence greatly. They were also very accommodating if I wanted to change the date/time of my session as well as changing the format from in person to over Skype. I could not recommend enough to other aspiring medic/dental students.
