Thank you so much both Amber and Anna. This was such an amazing interview masterclass. I learnt how to structure answers to controversial topics and had opportunities to put this into practice. It was very interactive and engaging. Definitely would recommend!

The Interview masterclass with Amber and Anna was a great starting point for interview practise. Information on key aspects of the NHS and hot topics in medicine combined with feedback on our responses to interview questions helped us feel much more confidant on how to answer the style of questions we were presented with.
It can be quite nerve-racking to speak online with a group of strangers but everyone was so pleasant and Anna and Amber were very reassuring! I learnt a lot, I specifically liked the discussions we had with Amber and the little homework slides on Anna’s presentation (also the drawings were amazing 😎). Thank you guys so much for today, and thanks to MedicHut for organising everything! :)
Amber and Anna were really great at explaining hot topics and possible interview questions surrounding them and they were really constructive and supportive when giving feedback on practice questions. The cartoon people from the morning PowerPoint were also really cool :)
The masterclass was very educational and informative, and I really appreciated how I could listen in on discussions to actually understand how to apply knowledge and interview, and the format of answering questions.
The interview masterclass was great. It was very interactive and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakout room discussions. Both Anna and Amber were excellent tutors who had structure the sessions brilliantly with engaging PowerPoints and animations. I would definitely recommend to anyone applying to medicine!
Great example questions and encouragement to interact so students get a feel of what it’s like to answer questions. Super helpful and definitely good to do lots of practise like this!
Dr Syed was very engaging and made the experience very interactive for students. His emphasis on active recall learning techniques help students to retain information. I didn’t know it was possible to know this much information before med school !

it was amazing. Dr. syed taught me so much and gave me a real insight of what it meant to be a doctor. He taught me the many skills that a doctor needs to be successful (e.g. communication skills, time management skills, etc) he is a very knowledgeable and skilled doctor that has a great way of teaching us youngsters. He makes sure that we are all paying attention and that we are interested in the context.
Syed was very engaging, kind and fun and helped to me understand complex topics. He was always interesting and thought us about actual medical conditions and how to diagnose them
Sayid fed us with a lot of information which was nice, although it was fast paced, I still enjoyed it a lot.

I am super impressed with the work experience simulation session. As a medical student I have worked with a couple of medical admission companies before and this is probably the only one that I think actually benefits future medical applicants. Not only are they given a life-like simulation on how hospitals run but they’re also taught core principles that we learn at medical school! Dr Syed is an incredible teacher.
Words can’t describe how amazing the MMI circuit was! So insightful and helpful. Really enjoyed the fact that we had a long time dedicated for feedback and all interviewers were a range of medical students/doctors. Would definitely do this again and can’t recommend it enough
