I’m a jazz vocalist who’s enjoyed a successful career as a recording, performing and touring musician here in Australia since 1998. I engaged Marc to mix my 9th album, The Bach Project, because it’s so different to any of my other releases that I needed new ears and imagination. Marc has worked magic in creating a lovely expansive feel without losing the intimacy of a chamber-jazz performance. His initiative on the spaced-out improv section in one track in particular, Bist Du Bei Mir, turned what I thought was the stuff of nightmares into exactly the dreamy, psychedelic romp I’d never imagined.
