Marc is one of the best sound engineer I have ever come across in my 25 years in the music career. He is very fast, reliable and he understands perfectly the music genre he is working on in detail. I am looking forward to working again with him!

Marc is an artist and technician of the highest order. His expert musical approach belies a technical wizardry allowing the music to flow with absolute confidence that whatever happens will be transformed beyond your ears wildest dreams. He is committed and dedicated to creating and capturing the beauty and magic of music. Highest recommendation.
Marc is a real pro. I've done several projects with him, touring and in the studio, and he has never failed to get the best results. We did a session recently during COVID, and he set up everything ahead of time with regard to safety precautions and protocols. We were very comfortable in the studio and able to perform without thinking about any of the technical matters. Highly recommended.
Marc Urselli is a great engineer... knowledgeable, professional, positive and highly efficient. I've recorded at EastSide Sound multiple times and have always had a good experience and came out with a quality recording. Highly recommended!
We recorded a New York Jazz Record (Hasbrook Heights- Manu Lafer), and the entire production was smooth, very professional and simply excellent! I recommend Marc’s Services to every musician, company or high end production of any sort as well as to independent producers, and to any artist with a project which you will want to see coming to fruition. Marc is a 5 Star multilingual recording/ Sound Engineer, and simply my first choice in the United States of America. Thank you for all Marc! Your work is outstanding! Musically, Annie Moore
Had a great recording session with Marc. The sound was incredible. We were setup and ready to record in no time. The rough mixes at the end of the day were not 'rough' at all! A good sound is very inspiring when recording creative music and Marc excels at this. Furthermore the spirit in the studio was great and we all felt safe as everybody followed strict CODIV-related safety measures.
Marc is the consummate professional. He is super attentive. He asks all the right questions and is respectful of any project parameters. Looking forward to working with him again.
Considering he's a 3x Grammy winner who's worked closely with the likes of Lou Reed, Hal Wilner and many other musical and audio greats, Marc Urselli is remarkably down to earth and fantastic to work with- one of my all time fav creative collaborators. One of the last big public performances I attended in the before-times was the celebration of the First Annual Lena Horne Prize, honoring Solange at Town Hall, late February, 2020. The lineup was spectacular, the vibe was Sacred, and the sound was perfect! I learned later, it was Marc Urselli on the live sound board that night. A few months later, Marc mixed my latest single "Red Pill", produced by genius great, Clark Gayton. Marc not only understood my song, and our intentions, but, when it came to the mix, he was out ahead, working inventively AND quickly. Marc made amazing, creative contributions that enhanced the meaning and the sound experience of our song. Inspiring collaboration! On top of that, he was willing to send in fun footage for our forthcoming music video ;) One of his latest efforts, “Angel Headed Hipster” is transcendent, musically, across the decades, across genres and genders, and all the earthly boundaries that didn't seem to hinder hipster prototype, genius songwriter, charismatic, sexy, dirty cherub, Marc Bolan. “Angel Headed Hipster” is a love letter to so many layers of musical and social history and groove and movements and more. Effectively a double album, the collection features songs like "Metal Guru" which demonstrates Bolan's childhood roots in 1950s rock. But, then, when you hear Nick Cave perform"Cosmic Dancer”, it's hard to imagine Cave didn't write it for himself this year. Many of the pairings are greater than the sum of their parts. It's a fantastic kismet that Kesha was in the studio next door and spontaneously performed what became the opening track, "Children of the Revolution". Perry Farrell's "Rock On" is so Bolan it's incredible. And there are many more luminaries (Elton John, Lucinda Williams, Todd Rundgren, Sean Lennon, Julian Lennon), international talents and plenty of women on the roster (Joan Jett, Borns, Gaby Moreno, more). Like great paintings next to each other in an exhibition, these juxtapositions and deliveries add richness to an already deep and fascinating catalogue of modern music. This IS the kind of album that will appeal to music lovers across the spectrum, across generations, audiophiles, living room dancers, air drummers, reminiscers or modern day hipsters, curious ears and minds, all. To say it makes a universally solid holiday gift would be only to touch on the tip of this awesome thoughtful, sonically delicious, agile and versatile production from Marc Urselli.
Marc and his team at Eastside Sound did a great job with helping me put on a livestream event from their space. From suggesting hardware to lighting and camera angles, he was helpful the whole way and it goes without saying the audio mix was perfect. The artists I worked with were extremely happy with the result, and so was I.
Marc Urselli is a high end professional. Telling you that as a perfectionist, who's only choosing the best. Marc mixed and mastered my debut EP (which is coming out soon) and he did an incredible job. I am based in LA and I was stuck to an idea of finding somebody with whom I could be present in a room, directing the work part by part. But once I gave it a try to do a distance work with Marc, since he's located in NYC, I realized that I made a right choice. My Music has not a standard variety of instruments (Guitar, Violin, Bass, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Drums) and Marc did it all great withing a really fast time making every single adjustment I requested him to do. I do not want to repeat myself, so to finish I'll just say that I'm extremely happy and excited about working with Marc Urselli and I'm looking forward to do some more work with him
I first came across Marc Urselli, through female music producer Aubrey Whitfield. I was reading through her blogs, and found a website recommending some of the top music producers and mixing engineers in the business. As soon as I discovered Marc had worked with the likes of the Foo Fighters, U2 and The Black Crowes (the list goes on!) I just had to get in touch. Not only is Marc a top professional, and a very talented mixing engineer, he also has a very caring heart after offering free mixes to bands who had been affected during Covid-19. My band Heyzeus were one of the lucky ones to win a free mix, for our debut release called 'Heroine'. We have now just finished recording our 3rd single which Marc has also done a fantastic job on the mix. I highly recommend Marc's services to anyone. 5 Stars.
