I opted to use cine-magic after reading previous reviews and wasn't disappointed, they sent email updates throughout the whole process, and I had the converted files and DVD along with the original reel within 4 weeks. I had never seen the footage from my parents wedding before and have now prepared it to be shown at their golden wedding in the summer - I can't wait to see their reaction! Thanks for a great service
We are so thrilled with the dvd's you created from our old cine films. My mum lost her husband 3 years ago (the films were his) and her son 29 years ago when he was 21 years old. The memories were there for us all. Unbelievable, thank you so much for a job well done.
Extremely expensive for 5 mins of film for not much work
Staff are very polite, not over priced and keep you informed of the process and when the product is ready to collect.
Cine Magic made it so easy to have the old cine film of our wedding transferred to blue ray and data disc. Every step was so easy with regular email updates to let me know when the fim was received, when work was started and when the work was completed. All I then had to do was pay over the phone and the order arrived within 2 days. Definitely recommend this first class service, full marks A++
Video 8 film transferred to DVD and computer files in a little over 3 weeks. Good quality transfer given 40 year old film. Would use again!
I loved the fact that you were told how your project was progressing day by day. The final product - I converted old cine film to be able to be played on the computer was great. Highly recommended !
This outfit is extremely friendly and ultra efficient You can safely entrust your irreplaceable old cine film to them and not have to worry
The film wasn't the one I had expected. I accept that may be my fault, but i had explained that i wasn't sure i had the right film as i do not have the equipment to view it. I explained that it started with a ticking clock sound track. I have received some footage which i have never seen before and this is the only footage where there is a sound track? I was asked to pay extra, presumably for the mag track, but there is no soundtrack. I accept the film is 35 yrs old but what i have received is out of focus, poor quality and has no sound track. I would have thought someone could have taken the time to discuss this with me before transferring the film? So i have spent £100 on rubbish. again, partly my fault; rubbish in, rubbish out but given digital enhancing etc i think the original footage could have been improved? Again, this isn't the film i thought it was and that in itself is disappointing.
If you want to share your old memories with your family and friends go to Cine Magic. They will convert any film or video into new technology. We were very happy with the work they did on our wedding film that nobody in our family has seen until now. They did a very good job and now they will see us now in our sixties as we were when we were in our twenties. It is great!
We had 200 ft of 8mm cine film of our wedding more than 40 years ago, which are now preserved on DVD. The service from Cine Magic was excellent and the DVD arrived sooner than expected.
Cine-Magic were brilliant - I highly recommend them. Not cheap, but we ended up with a high quality product that is a joy to watch again and again. We were guided through the process and kept in touch all the way, and service was efficient and very speedy. Couldn't have asked for more - highly recommended!
I would recommend Cine magic if you have some old cine films to convert to DVD, the site is so easy to follow and the joy of seeing something come alive again after probably many years stuck in a box , you can choose a title, they put appropriate background music, it was all done so quickly and so efficiently, I've had two cine films converted now and have two more to convert and i will most definitely be using Cine Magic.
I send 19off 8mm films for conversion to DVD and the draft DVD was back with me within 7 working days for me to review and title. Once done and notified to CineMagic the final DVD, AVI copes and 19 films where back with me within 7 working days. A good simple and efficient service...
Twelve years of 8mm cine all on easily accessible DVD with menu. So pleased we have saved the films for our children and grandchildren. Amazingly good quality, so much better than we had from a competitor 5 years ago which was almost unwatchable; we watched Cine Magic's DVD holding our breath and were delighted with the result. Speedy turn round and good price considering the number of splices that must have been required to transfer our 40 year old Super 8. Highly recommended. Thank you.
An excellent service that met all of my initial requirements. I know where to turn to if I need similar services in the future.
I had found some old Super 8 reels in the loft and had no idea what was on them. I sent one to Cine Magic to see the quality of the film as they were about 40 years old. I was so pleased with the results. Very emotional seeing my parents and family on holiday so many years ago, especially as some family on the film are no longer with us. I was so pleased with the result I have now sent off another 4 reels and am going to search the loft for any more I can find.
We had some very old cine films we wanted putting on to DVDs with music of the era and Cine Magic came through for us. Best think I found was there readiness to help as we need some slight changes and Cine magic were very helpful and did it. Would recommend Thank you cine magi you work has made a wonderful gift for my daughter
I has a very simple and professional service from cine magic whom I found on the internet. I would (and have) recommended them. yours CindyP
I have a standard 8 film 7" reel that I took in Japan 50, yes 50, years ago! Ok the camera work is not the greatest but at least I ended up with a DVD. Bearing in mind this film has languished in lofts and garages for all these years I am pleased that there is some useable footage. Well done.
