This is a really great gin!

Trisha and Caroline made the whole experience by far one of the best we have ever had. The whole shop and tasting area was nice, clean, tidy and with a superb display of all the products. Even though one of us was driving they made us both feel part of the experience. Very relax, fun and unique experience; so much this is the first we wanted to buy more than just one bottle. Fully recommend and can’t wait to taste them all over again

Bought my parents a gin tasting session for their Christmas present as they are staying in Aviemore. They haven’t been yet so can’t comment on the session but I thought the price was excellent and meant that I could buy them a gift voucher for them to use in the shop after their tasting. The website was easy to use and offered a great insight into the business and what they offer.

Our tasting session was a great experience. Our host Caroline was so friendly and informative and made us feel relaxed. All our questions were answered fully, nothing was too much trouble. This is a fantastic small family run distillery which produces great tasting gins

Really disappointed.I ordered the Artisan Trio as a Christmas gift. Delivery arrived today after being put back from last week for some reason. Opened the box and the packaging was crap, a small box rattling around inside a big box with just a couple of other bits of cardboard and a bit of bubble wrap to stop it from rolling around. I already knew what I would find when I opened the smaller box as I could smell the alcohol. Again the packaging is rubbish considering these are shipped from Scotland, the main present was in the smaller box, the 3 small bottles are not held in place, the neck of the miniature just fits through a hole in the flimsy outer packaging, but it means they jiggle around and the middle bottle had smashed - the neck had broken off and the gin had emptied soaking everything. Considering how long this has taken to arrive ( about 2 weeks ) it's just not worth the hassle. Now have to try and get my money back... Joy.

Really enjoyed our gin tasting experience. The staff were knowledgeable and had some fun with us. Am going back when I visit Scotland again. BTW the gins were excellent and will buy again. The views of the Cairngorms were stunning!

The gin tasting experience at Kinrara Distillery is so good that I went twice! And I plan to go back again this weekend. I’m lucky enough to live in the area and when I have gin loving friends or family come to visit, I bring them here to experience for themselves the incredible and varied gins that this wee distillery produces. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The lovely Caroline hosted both gin tastings I’ve been to. Caroline made the tasting experience so much fun, I felt like I was having a lovely afternoon with a friend over a gin. You will learn which mixers pair well with which gins, some I had never considered before but am now a complete convert! And you will learn about the distilling process. But please be aware that you will not be taken into the distilling room. The gin tasting experience is great value for money. Which is just as well as you’ll need your money to spend in the shop afterwards. You’re bound to leave with a bottle or two of this wonderful tipple!

Gin is my favourite tipple, I drink it neat with soda in a tall glass with ice. Sitting at a bar in Gleneagles I was encouraged to try Kinrara it was the combination I had been searching for, Kinrara, Soda, and a twist of orange. Absolutely perfect, crisp and clean with a hint of the orange to invigorate the blenders intended taste. These things don’t happen by accident, it’s a taste of genius. Give it a try, no high calorie content either win, win.

Customer service was exceptional! Dan was brilliant at keeping us updated with delivery. A cool looking bottle of gin that tastes as good as it promised . Will definitely use again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our gin tasting session at Kinrara Distillery. A warm welcome, interesting insight into gin making and a range of gins tasted, all different so one for every palate. Lovely gift shop, art work on bottles original and attractive. Cheers!

The gin tasting at Kinrara distillery exceeded our expectations. We booked for a hen party and it did not disappoint. The team could not have been any more helpful and made sure we laughed from start to finish. Such a lovely location, would highly recommend a visit.

Friendly & professional staff who made us feel very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The tasting room was absolutely lovely, very comfortable and the information given to us about how to make the different Gins was really interesting. We went as a mixed family group and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The designated drivers were catered for very well with samples to take away! Absolutely wonderful tasting, and the gin was fabulous! Caroline and Trish were so accomodating of our 3-year old, making sure he felt included and had his own snacks and drinks! Definitely a great experience! Staff was so friendly and warm. You will definitely want to take home a couple of bottles!

A fantastic experience on the tasting session. It’s great to see this distillery growing in popularity. Our host was wonderful and cared about what the small team were planning to do with this growing brand. A wide range of samples offered, all fully explained.

Amazing personal experience - very different to a typical distillery in a great way, Caroline is a great asset to the team and truly made it. The shop is beautifully done with a great display of all products available to purchase. Will 100% stop in every time I’m in Aviemore or driving by. Well done guys.

Kinrara is a understated surprise! I visited as part off a present to my wife who stated she had the best of times. We both had fun with the friendly staff and were lucky with the others who joined us on the taster session. Kinrara is run by a family and it feels very homely and welcoming.
