Was delighted to find a basket maker using 'white' willows for a wet washing basket to prevent staining of wet clothing. I received an e-mail when the basket was sent out the next day and it arrived in good time and very well packaged. The oval shape is perfect for balancing on your hip going out to the washing line and is nicely weighted, sturdy but not too heavy. Absolutely delighted with my purchase, a pleasure to use beautifully crafted products for everyday tasks.
The log basket of dreams arrived on time and well packed. This is a high quality artisan item which has a bit of weight to it and looks even more beautiful than on the website! It is properly large and holds enough logs for 2/3 evenings for us. I am absolutely delighted with its looks, quality and functionality and am so glad I did not buy a more readily available, cheaper, mass produced item. I’m sure this beautiful strong basket will be part of our home for many years. We are thoroughly delighted with our basket. It arrived promptly and is a perfect size for our logs. It's not so big that when full it’s terribly heavy, nor do you bang your knuckles when carrying it through doorways. It's so beautiful it lives in the lounge whether in use or not. We are very pleased to have found John and support a local craftsman using local materials. We have no hesitation in recommending him and his work.
