Harriet Ellis Training, in particular Tommy, has been amazing guiding me into securing a dental nurse apprenticeship with an amazing practice. My journey began on the 10th June when Tommy from Harriet Ellis training contacted me after seeing I had been applying for dental nursing apprenticeships on the government apprenticeship website. Tommy was amazing at explaining the whole process to me as it was all very new to me and I had a lot of questions. He quickly was able to organise interviews for me to attend that best suited what I was looking for. After I received my first interview, Tommy sent over lots of advice and preparation on interview questions I should expect, advice on background research on the dental practice, which without his help I would not have felt confident and prepared for the interview. Every step of the way, any questions I had, Tommy was very quick with answering to any of these questions and regularly keeping me up to date on the next steps. Thanks to Tommys help, I was able to secure employment with this practice after completing my first interview! This process began on the 10th June and I am now starting my dental nursing apprenticeship on the 29th July! I thank Tommy and Harriet Ellis training for enabling me to secure an apprenticeship in a field I have been passionate about in such a short period of time!

Tommy was extremely helpful as my consultant I had some technical issues with a test for my course, Tommy was efficient and got the issue resolved for me. He kept regular contact with myself and my practice, keeping me up to date with the whole progress. Also giving reassurance where needed. Thank you Tommy!

I am an apprentice taking part in the Level 3 dental nursing course(18 months)with Harriet Ellis and have been with them almost 2 months now and have learned a lot and felt very supported by my DE(Alysha Hirst) and my Tutor(Emily Kilkenny)!I have felt very happy with my decision choosing Harriet Ellis as they have helped me so much- From helping me find interviews at dental practices to take my apprenticeship at and now helping me towards my goal of completing my level 3 apprenticeship and becoming a registered dental nurse! Helena Allies was my DE and made my experience amazing because she was constantly helping and assuring me when needed. I also sped through my course due to Helena making sure I was on top of all my coursework & also when I needed a little help, Helena was always quick to reply and give me all the advice needed. So far I have been thoroughly impressed with Harriet Ellis and the way the course is handled. Every member I have spoken to has worked incredibly hard to sort out any problems I have had, and have kept in contact with me to see how I am doing. My Dental Educationalist, Helena Allies, has been fantastic support thus far; she is always readily available and incredibly proactive when I need help and has been a brilliant motivator on my journey so far. My tutor, Ruth Stock, has also been a wonderful source of information and teaches our lessons at a great tempo. She pushes us to discuss what we have learnt amongst ourselves as a group; and at the end of the lesson gives us other pieces of useful information to study that relate to the course.

From the start of my journey to my current position, Helena Allies has been an unwavering source of support. Her dedication to my growth and success has been instrumental, and I truly believe I could not have achieved this without her guidance. One of Helena’s greatest strengths is her commitment to providing personalised feedback. She is always approachable and willing to offer additional support, which has been incredibly beneficial for my learning process. I have been working with Harriet Ellis in providing training to apprenticeship dental nurses. Helena Allies is a brilliant Dental Educationalist, she supports my apprenticeship nurses really well to ensure that they are keeping on top of their college work and supporting them when they need it. Whenever, I have a new apprentice I will always ask for her.

My experience at HE wasn’t great to start with had many DE’s leaving. However i recently had Farheen! And she was amazing, any future apprentices if you have her as a DE you’ll be so supported during the process. A heartfelt thank you to Farheen for guiding me through my apprenticeship and keeping me motivated. Your support has truly made a difference in my journey. Your encouragement means a lot, and I appreciate everything you've done to help me succeed. She is always proactive and even emailing me out of hours to help me and assist me if needed and is always motivating me to get things done. She is also very understanding and will not overwhelm you with work. She is not pushy and understands that it is difficult to get things done and it actually motivated me to do well and get things done by her deadlines because she wasnt placing any unnecessary pressure on me. Thank you, Farheen! Also a massive thanks to Tia for always being a person to talk to about any worries you may have and always supporting me towards my end goal. It was amazing having check ins with her and if there are any issues whether at work or at Harriet ellis she is a great person to confide in. Also thanks to Emily K , who was my tutor and make lessons really fun and interactive and always making jokes to lighten the mood during lessons!

It's been a long journey completing my dental nursing course but I'm finally at the finishing line thanks to the wonderful dental educationalists, in particular Farheen Mithagare who helped me immensely during my last few months.

my second to last DE said she would be my DE till the end. not long later she resigned with immediate effect at the end of my course which really stressed me out …until a couple of weeks later i was blessed with farheen mithagare. she supported me throughout the end of my course so that i could go forward for my EPA on time. no DE out of the very many i’ve had have shown me as much support as she has. she replied to me at out of hours and always put my mind at ease despite being brand new to the company. thank you for everything farheen!
