Great service. Staff very friendly. I had a great experience. However, I bought the most expensive insurance package so I didn't have to worry about anything car related after I finished my trip. I rented a Land Rover Dyscovery and it was in perfect condition and perfect for the terrain.

Good service, car exactly as described on the internet, problem with the car solved quickly and professionally. I can only recommend - excellent price / quality ratio.

As always great, the car was perfect for us, older model but a car model I knew from a previous rental a few years back, 10/10 would rent from Gocarrental again.... It just works, no hassle, no unnecessary insurance being forced upon us.

Had a great experience with Go Car Rental this week. The rental cost was significantly lower than any of the "mainstream" car rental firms were quoting and I appreciated the reassurance of being able to reduce the insurance excess to zero for a relatively minimal cost. The car was a little older than you would normally get from a hire company, but I did choose their cheapest available option and it proved comfortable and reliable throughout our trip. The customer service from the team at the office in Keflavik was exceptional and I sincerely appreciated the detailed advice they offered on driving in Iceland when we collected the car. I wouldn't hesitate to use Go Car Rental again, next time we're in Iceland.

I've used this company now for my last three trips to Iceland and have always had an excellent experience. Great value for money with helpful and friendly staff. Since last summer an office directly at the airport, it doesn't get any better. Even when our flight was delayed so much that we landed outside their office hours they sorted the car for us. Can't see myself booking anywhere else.

Exceptional customer service and satisfaction! I rented a Suzuki Jimny for seven days. I had some issues with this car after the first day, including a slow puncture. After calling Go Car Rental and explaining the problems, they offered a Subaru Forester as a replacement car for no extra charge. They even dropped the car off to us where we were parked and took the old car away. They were helpful, supportive and understanding of the issues. I would recommend this company for car rentals as they clearly value their customers and understand that no one wants to spend their holiday fixing car issues.

The staff were polite and very quick to help, they have a shuttle bus service so they pick up and drop off . The car was four wheel drive with stud tyres in case the roads are bad . Very good price for the three days we had it .

Super service. Vi havde brug for lidt vejledning i forhold til størrelse af bil og derfor skrev jeg inden jeg bookede til GO. Der gik under 15 minutter inden jeg fik respons og forslag til bil. Da jeg afhentede bilen blev vi mødt af meget god kundeservice. Det var en fornøjelse at leje bil hos jer, meget nemt og overskuelig, og ovenikøbet var prisen skarp! Tak for os.

I can only recommend Go Car Rental – simply outstanding customer service!! We had an excellent experience with Go Car Rental from pick-up to drop-off. We had booked a Suzuki Jimny Modified, in order to be able to drive on F-roads in the highlands. It worked perfectly the first week, but as we reach the East part of the country, it started to overheat when going up hills. After it happened twice in less than 1 km, we called Go Car Rental and got in touch with Jon, who advised us to open the heat cap and to drive to the next city where he would inform a garage we were coming. The mechanic added some cooling liquid mixed with water and sent us on our way. It went fine for some kilometers, but eventually it overheated it again. We called Jon again and he sent out an another mechanic to our position. We thought this would take the whole evening given we called at 17h45, but only 20 minutes later the mechanic was on the spot. He did some tests and concluded that the engine was done… The news took us a bit down as we were really looking forward for our trip in the highlands the day after, but could not see how it would happen with a broken engine. This is where Jon/Go Car Rental and their customer service came in-to play. Jon told us he needed to find out what to do and arranged with the mechanic to drop us off at our hotel for the night. Less than 2 hours later, we received a photo of a trailer loaded with a 4x4 with the following description: “Lukas is leaving now with a Mitsubishi Pajero, he will bring it to your hotel tomorrow morning and he has your number”. We simply could not believe that Go Car Rental, Jon and Lukas could manage to do this in such short notice! The morning after, Lukas was here with the car, we did the exchange, and we could finish our superb trip. Go Car Rental did an amazing job and proved the customer service and customer satisfaction are their highest priorities. We are very happy we decided to book with Go Car Rental.

Well, First van we had some issue about UREA SYSTEM. After we drove almost 900 km, sign pop up saying that we must check and reset the system otherwise your car will not start so We called them...no answer...we called emergency number no answer, so we called booking number, Guy informed that we have to bring the car at the rental place to check it out. So we have to changed out trip plan and cancel one reservation and come back to Reykjavik and stayed to check it out the car, Anyway next day we called them and talk to guy name DAREK, who was extremely helpful. he change the van give us another one. we drove almost 100 km , opposite side car were fleshing us so we check our head light, which were NOT working so, it was raining and we were looking for car repair place, after driving 70 km, we found it and fix it. In sort due to bad car we had spoil one and half day, which cost us money and time. we were there for 7 days and lost one and half day for nothing. There service is not great. so my suggestion is before you go on the road please check everything.
