GMiD knows what it is doing, making sure you submit the needed documents in the right way, with different teams to handle different stages. These teams do communicate with each other, so do not worry about that aspect. GMiD presents a range of options to allow for flexibility. My only minor quibble would be that GMiD pushed for slightly more than the public government websites indicated was needed on some documentation... BUT I suspect they know what the authorities reject in reality, and so aim to get the paperwork passed. GMiD were very patient with multiple retries between us and them to get some of the documents up to standard. The wedding day itself went very well, and was smoothly handled by the council hall and a very friendly registrar etc.

The team at Getting Married in Denmark was so kind and helpful throughout this entire experience. ❤️ Not only did they provide all of the information that we needed in a timely manner, they went above and beyond when answering our questions by giving us recommendations and helping us with our plans. When we realized an error on our marriage certificate, they quickly amended the situation for us directly with the Town Hall, causing no problems at all on our end. Special shoutout to Penny, who was so lovely and considerate with us throughout our entire journey, she is the best! Highly recommend these guys, they know what they are doing!

At the beginning of this year, we hired the Getting Married in Denmark Agency to help us with the processes and planning of our wedding in Denmark. We are glad to report that the agency was very professional and efficient in the planning process, the communication channels were also clear. Although the process of proofing our documents lasted a bit longer, we had an understanding since they had to wait for the authorities from our place of residence to respond. Not only did Getting Married in Denmark handle all the legal aspects efficiently, but they also guided us through every process with expertise and genuine commitment making our special day perfect. After the entire process was finalized, we also received recommendations from the agency of the best photographer who covered the entire ceremony. The bottom line is, the event was a success and we couldn't be more delighted with the experience. We cannot thank the agency enough for their support and would gladly recommend them (5 Stars). We decided to marry in Denmark in order to avoid the paperwork required in Germany (lots of paperwork, even for two native Germans!). Getting maried in Denmark (GMiD) turned out to be the perfect choice: super friendly and extremely professional people as well as quick and detailed answers to questions. We recommend them in all points.

My spouse and I chose to work with Getting Married in Denmark, as we both have different nationalities and learned online that Denmark requires less paperwork for marriage than other EU countries. We had the most wonderful experience imaginable working with this company, and very highly recommend them to other couples who are considering this option. We communicated with several staff members over the course of the process, all of whom were extremely helpful, detailed in their instructions, friendly, and genuine. They attentively walked us through every step, and even checked in on us during our trip to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Our wedding at the Copenhagen City Hall was so much more magical than we expected - having already attended some city hall weddings in the U.S., we expected it to be mostly about paperwork, but it was so much more than that. The officiant who conducted our ceremony was so warm, and made us feel very at ease. He had some beautiful words to say about love and relationships that brought tears to my eyes, and the witnesses provided by the city hall were so kind as to take plenty of photos and videos for us. After the ceremony we sat in the great hall just basking in happiness, and chatting with some other couples who were also there to get married. It was so special and delightful, and we are extremely grateful to have worked with the Getting Married in Denmark team who made the process so easy and enjoyable!

When we decided to get married overseas, we expected it to be a difficult process. The wonderful people at Getting Married in Denmark quickly put us at ease. They explained the whole process and timeline upfront in order to set expectations. Any time we contacted them with questions, concerns, etc., they responded promptly. We are a German/Ukrainian couple living in Germany. We would have required a ton of documents for getting married here. Friends of ours had a good experience with GMID, so we dediced to also use their services. And what can I say, it all went super smooth. Collecting all photos, chat pictures etc was quite easy. We always got replies with max. 1-2 days if we had questions. We organized our stay in Denmark ourselves, but everything in Helsingor town hall went super easy. And we were really suprised how nice the building itself, as well as the small town by the sea is! Overall, I can only highly recommend. We "got married in Denmark", and can only give 10/10! Cheers!

I couldnt reccomend GMID enough, they made a farily complex process, easy. They walk you through every step of the way explaining what is required and how it should be completed. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable and even had recommendations for local providers for everything you need on the big day such as local flower providers, photographers, etc. If you are thinking of getting married in Denmark then I would highly recommend!

The team made the whole process easy and enjoyable. They removed the stress from the situation by taking care of all the admin work. They liaised with the town hall and had everything ready for us, including our request for 4 marriage certificates so I could send one off with each application I needed to change my name to my married name. They kept us up to date with the process and gave us great advice. Very grateful to Erma and the rest of the team. We went for the all inclusive package and honestly worth every penny. Highly recommend them. I'd also highly recommend Stevns as it's such a beautiful place to get married with Old Church and the buffet after which was amazing and a personalised card from the Mayor! Unfortunately can't recommend this service provider. Communication and turnaround times is just too stressful :/ Even when you try hard to match their office hours (which is a huge effort btw, being on a totally opposite timezone), it takes days to get a reply. I now understand the frustration of the negative reviews here. The application stage took longer than it should be, being Late/ slow to reply and won't explain properly on what's wrong about the scans (pages were scanned in a similar way but for some reason, the agent kept asking us to resend 2-3 selected pages as it's not "crisp" enough). After paying for the whole service, apostille included, I can no longer get in touch with anyone from the team. We're on holiday and apparently the courier is requiring signature upon delivery :/ Tried contacting courier & changing directly online but kept getting web error messages (sigh). Idk, if you're someone with experience in applying for visa (tourist or whatever), I suggest just diy-ing the whole thing. Denmark's pretty straightforward with their requirements & process.
