My Wife and I found Getting Married in Denmark via a random search once we decided on a plan to travel to Denmark for a marriage certificate. The quotes for all the services seemed reasonable and we felt confident that everything would go as quickly and smoothly as we could reasonably expect. Indeed everything did go very smoothly without a hitch and I especially appreciated each of the staff members knowledge and willingness to answer whatever questions we had. We utilized their recommendations for Dinner the night of the wedding, and we utilized their recommendations for a photographer which also worked out perfectly. All of this made for a perfect day that we will remember years from now, and I would not hesitate in recommending GMID for any couple from any country to use their services. My wife and I wanted to avoid the bureaucracy of the marriage laws from our own home countries. Denmark was recommended to us by several people working for the UN. We hired GMID in order to expedite the process of getting married, and to avoid any potential hangups that could set us back 6 months to a year. GMID's staff was nothing short of excellent. They were professional, highly communicative, patient, and friendly. I can honestly say our process was so much smoother due to their guidance, and while they were VERY specific with some requirements, in the end I understand that this was to avoid any potential setbacks, which we were able to do. Aside from this, Denmark and the Danish people were nothing short of wonderful as a destination and as hosts for our day. We can't thank GMID enough for their work with us. My current husband and I have decided to get married. Cheerful, excited and hoping to get an appointment as soon as possible, we went to the municipal office of the town in Germany where we live to get needed information. Just waiting for an appointment for an informative interview takes more than three months. Obtaining the necessary documents takes another three months. Recieving an appointment in which the future newlyweds will be informed that the ceremony can be done takes another 3 months. Of course, when all that is finally done it is still questionable when the date of the ceremony itself will be offered, because all dates are already booked up to a year in advance. In order to avoid months of waiting for an answer, we decided to look for a more suitable option for us. Then we red that the same process in Denmark takes much less time, and that the extensive documentation required in Germany is more simpler in Denmark. After we gathered information about how the family relations office in Denmark works, we decided initially to try to apply ourselves and to avoid the costs that a mediation agency entails. Unfortunately, the photos we attached during the application were not in a satisfactory format, and we were asked to submit them again. (Which considerably prolongs the processing time) Since we didn't want to wait (because that was the reason why we picked Denmark), we decided to contact the mediation agency which will resend the application. (Cancel the old one, and reapply) Of all the numerous agencies I read about and researched, GMiD is the only one that seemed satisfactory. After I contacted several agencies explaining our case, only GMiD responded with such professionalism, brevity, understanding and speed that they became the only option for us. The first impression was just a slight taste of everything the agency offered us. In a little less than a week, we went from nothing to the final confirmed and desired marriage date. During the entire process, we were actively supported at every step. Inquiries were answered quickly and clearly. The whole team showed why they really are the best agency. Communication was active all the time, full of support, understanding, encouragement, advice, friendship. All factors surrounding the preparation that create stress are minimized and taken over by the agency. From the entire team, I have to point out the wonderful, magical Penny who was primarily in charge of our case and who accompanied and encouraged us until the end of the process, and even after that. Usually, certain doubts are associated with agencies (which we also had at the beginning), but GMiD is a completely different flow. They provide a sense of security, stability, peace, continuity, adequacy, proactivity, and constant dynamics for the benefit of their clients, who then often refer them as their friends. As long as they sent you the list of documents required, say goodbye to your 295€ / 895€ depends on the package. Getting married in Denmark was the best choice for this process. It was easy, clear and fast. Everything went smooth and we are very thankful. Only two suggestions would be that by not working on weekends, the process was longer and we missed the opportunity to get married in our ideal date. Also, the suggested restaurants and hotels they provided when selecting the wedding location weren't good, overpriced or closed. Many of the links and websites didn't work. I suggest looking for your own accomodations and activities!

It was an amazing experience. Every plan went smoothly and we got the dates we wanted. Taking the pictures of the passports and other documents was stressful but I guess they are only doing their job to have everything ready, correct and complete. So be patient. Once our application was approved in 5 working days which is faster than if we applied in Germany, we made a road trip to Denmark and it was amazing. Thanks to GMID team. They were very helpful throughout the whole process and even when I had questions and requests. would definitely reccomend.
